My preferred activity at our internal developer conference SAP d-com? Mingling with our teams and having fun together! I challenged everyone to meet at least five colleagues they didn’t know yet and was very happy to achieve this as well throughout the last two days 😉   Together with Muhammad Alam and Eva Zauke we kicked off both days sharing our priorities and celebrating our internal dev community. The decision to spend most of my time on the show floor gave me the opportunity for a real-time pulse check on topics top of mind for me as CTO like AI, security, quality or developer experience where it’s all about enabling our dev teams to thrive. I really enjoy the spontaneous conversations and interactions that happen when we all come together. Especially at events like these, it’s extremely valuable for leaders to get feedback and learn from the teams directly while also building connections where synergies and exchange between the teams can create additional value. I was so impressed by the dedication, energy and knowledge they are putting into our products – what a proud moment! A big THANK YOU to everyone involved in pulling off such a great event and, of course, my sincere appreciation goes to our developers, architects, engineers, and all the “makers” who build the enterprise software that helps our customers and partners run their business successfully.  #engineeringpride #LifeAtSAP
