Dear HR. Here is something I have always wondered about.. I think it should be a requirement that when a manager applies for another managerial position that they are requested to provide one or two of the people that worked under them to testify to their leadership and the type of management provided. it's a bit unfair that HR can call your manager to get a better understanding of how you work and the type of person you are as an employee. We are all awaiting to be used as references for our managers...give us a call. What do you think?
