The future is bright! This week, I had inspiring sessions with the future builders of LinkedIn. First, I met our talented LinkedIn and Year Up Interns, then the winners of our Possibilities in Tech Scholarship. There's no doubt that this talented group will bring about groundbreaking innovations to our platform and beyond. https://lnkd.in/gnJugiZC https://lnkd.in/gtcMb6Gy
can’t wait to see the feature the interns requested!!
Year Up is one of my favorite organizations. really enjoyed volunteering for them back when I was in the Bay Area working at LinkedIn. Love their mission and all that they stand for.
I wish LinkedIn had a pathway to see who is contacting recruiters at what timeline, frequency and desperation! This 2 way employee-HR communication can solve the biggest problems of US not just talent retention, training or future workforce but serious outcomes of people's valuable lives. LinkedIn, Meta, X and similar has the ability to make the 'Internet social science platforms' a really life saving company for smart, talented, scared, silent and vulnerable people globally living safely. Hopefully AI will now make a renewed version freeing the choked HR system and protect the brightest people from being targeted, scammed to branding fraudsters using decoy effect or influencer marketing, con-games, investment in ponzi schemes and misled to change companies ruining valuable careers forever! But foremost is how to stop the stealing and illegal usage of employees personal data with extreme harms changing trajectory of a person in American history. It takes a village to raise a beautiful human whose intellectual gifts could solve extraordinarily difficult projects.
Please can we also have some focus groups to help shape the future of the platform?
Keep adding new value for users. We appreciate it.
Amazing!
Hello, it seems that you have made a new update to the LinkedIn mobile application. After this update, when writing comments via the mobile application, the comment window cannot be scrolled up or down in long comments. When you touch the comment window with your finger to move to the point to be corrected in the article, the comment window automatically moves either to the bottom or to the top. If the comment is a long comment and the text to be corrected is also in the middle, you move the comment window slowly, up or down, very carefully. Even so, there's a 50% chance of hitting the right spot. If you do not touch the finger to the comment window with the necessary precision, the comment window becomes smaller. Please test it, you will see. Apparently, how the comment window behaves on the mobile app with a 1250-character long test comment has not been tested. There is an indecision in long comments in the mobile application comment window. I wish success to the entire LinkedIn team.
Such an honor to be a part of this wonderful event!
Amazing progress!thank you for giving us an update in regards for LinkedIn, God Bless 🙏
