It was amazing connecting with Preston Weekes during his visit to Sandpoint, ID with his family. We had a great conversation for couple hours overlooking Lake Pend Oreille, Idaho's largest lake at 43 miles long and over 1,150 feet deep. The scenery is breathtaking! Preston's expertise in building multiple companies and his knack for developing scalable processes and systems, particularly through technology, is truly impressive. He is brilliant, and he operates with alignment through abundance, heart, and passion! He streamlines tasks that once required hours and multiple team members into quick processes that can be completed in minutes, all thanks to technology. #Innovation #Networking #Business #Friend #Technology

I made a great connection on LinkedIn! It’s easy to miss opportunities right in front of you on LinkedIn if you are not looking for them. I met with Chaz Horn a few months ago and discovered he had some strategies for helping me transition from employee to entrepreneur. Chaz provides the B2B Blueprint for Predictable Sales for B2B Businesses. 📕Grab a copy of Chaz’s new book, “The B2B Blue To Predictable Sales for B2B Businesses," by going to his profile, Chaz Horn, or see the comment section for a link to his free digital book. Take full advantage of collaboration opportunities! With the intention to serve, not sell, you can open up a world of opportunities.

At times, I am asked how someone can get started in advising and leverage their expertise to review and give feedback on various topics. An organization called Wynter offers a great digital platform, creating an opportunity to provide feedback to leading B2B companies and get paid for it. If you are in B2B, enjoy sharing your perspective, and seek a flexible side hustle, this opportunity might be worth checking out. I will include a link in the comment section if you want to learn more. Make today amazing! #b2bmarketing #feedback

This week, I had the privilege of connecting with incredible individuals who have enriched my life. John Ramstead, CPLC, ACC, Lloyd Reeb, Nancy Gentle Boudrie, John Serben, and Heather Epstein shared valuable insights and wisdom, contributing to my personal growth this week. In addition to these meaningful interactions, I have been reading enriching books. This week, I am exploring "The Second CEO" by Matt Sharrers and "Vocal Leadership" by Arthur Samuel Joseph. I am grateful for the knowledge and inspiration these books provide. Who have you recently met and what books have you read that made a positive impact in your life? #AmazingPeople #PersonalGrowth #LeadershipDevelopment #ContinuousLearning

What have we learned from others on how to intentionally create a desired and fulfilled life? 🌟 Reflecting on life's brevity and the dash between birth and death can be a powerful reminder to live intentionally TODAY. 🌿💭 Riding through Washington State wheat fields on my enduro motorbike brings me peace, beauty, and adventure while connecting me to history and a sense of gratitude. 🏍️🌾 As I pass old cemeteries, I often pause to honor those who came before, pondering the impact of their lives and the legacy they left behind. The tombstones over my shoulder are 100+ years old, weathered from the elements, and some sit sideways with the earth shifting. The tombstones only show the birth date and death date near the name. Between birth and death is just a " - " dash. Thinking about someone’s entire life occurring in the " - " dash between birth and death is a surreal thought. When they died, no one in the cemetery brought material wealth or achievements with them. Everything they worked so hard to earn was left behind. This is a complex concept to grasp when we work so hard in a materialistic world. What do you do when your 78 year old mom calls and asks you to do an unplanned half marathon with her in less than 48 hours? You say YES! Let’s do it! Earlier in the day on Friday, I was on a call with Preston Weekes and 🌟Eldin Hasa 🧠🎙. They are brilliant when it comes to neuroscience and neuroplasticity. How to rewire your brain 🧠 for maximum success and overall joy in life. You see we all have conditioned thought patterns. We run similar thinking patterns every day and most of it on an unconscious level because of neuroconnections. It’s why most people stay stuck in life, wanting something to improve but experiencing the samething over and over again. 👉 The first step to making positive lasting change in your life, and in business, is noticing your thinking and feeling patterns. 👉 Creating conscious awareness in the moment of when you feel fear, anxiousness, and other negative thoughts and feelings. 👉 Acknowledge the self defeating thoughts and feelings, and the fact they are not true. They are created in the mind and do not really exist. So later in the day when my mom reached out and asked me to do the Lake Coeur d'Alene half marathon, I noticed my conditioned thinking and feelings went to: ❌ I have done zero training for a half marathon. I’m not sure I can go do 13 miles on such short notice without training for a couple months. I felt anxious and fear. What if I get hurt? What if I do not finish? ❌ The weather might be cold 🥶 and windy. Rationalizing why I should just say no and stay comfortable. ❌ I kind of want to just sleep in. Warm comfy bed. After noticing these thoughts and feelings real time, and remembered my discussion with Preston and Eldin, I consciously interrupted the conditioned responses and replaced them with more empowering thoughts: ✅ Here in an opportunity to spend quality time with my mom. Take full advantage of the fact she is alive, healthy, and wanting to spend time together. This opportunity might not be available in the future. ✅ I love being outdoors. The Pacific Northwest is beautiful. Fresh air, water, and mountains. I can stay home and sleep in on a rainy day. ✅ Exercise feels great. We are speed walking so I can totally do this event. And if we get tired, I take a break. 💪 I encourage you to increase the conscious awareness of habitual thinking in your personal and professional life. Thoughts impact way more of your life than ever imagined! Now it’s time for some Normatec by Hyperice for the legs and a family BBQ! 😀 Huge shout out to Negative Split for organizing such a great event. Thanks for the city of Coeur d'Alene for supporting the event. 🙏

This was today’s calendar quote. This is so true. And it made me think of a recent conversation. Earlier this week I had an incredible discussion with Jim Britt! Wow, what an amazing individual with a ton of care, experience, and wisdom. During our long discussion, Jim explained: 👉 There are two emotions that we experience throughout our lives: LOVE ❤️ & FEAR 😨 👉 Understanding that FEAR is the one thing that will move you away from what you would love to have in your life. 👉 FEAR can be categorized as doubt, worry, uncertainty, lack of clarity, and lack of self-confidence. 👉 FEAR is a made-up story about some event that has not yet happened. It’s a made-up story that will keep you stuck right where you are if you buy into it. 👉 It’s your self-talk making up excuses. 💪 Take at least one action TODAY towards something you fear, but what you really want in life. Action cures fear!
