I am thrilled to announce that my first paper has been published in the journal Cancer Communications! The paper is titled "Antitumoral effects of cannabis in Notch1-mutated T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia." https://lnkd.in/eSj_jTyc We investigated how cannabis extracts can inhibit the growth of leukemia cells that have a mutation in the NOTCH1 gene, which is a common driver of this type of cancer. We found that some cannabis extracts can induce apoptosis (cell death) and reduce the expression of NOTCH1 target genes in these cells, suggesting a potential therapeutic benefit for patients with this mutation.
