Sydney worked as a co-op student with Kellanova, and joined the team full-time before graduating. An absolute rockstar with a career trajectory that has no bounds! The Wall Street Journal Global Food Forum had a super kickoff last night in Chicago! The highlight quote was, “Data is the new tractor”, from Syngenta CEO Jeff Rowe, who did a fantastic job linking strategies to global solutions of feeding the world while navigating the ever-present geopolitical obstacles! Also took in the events with Jacqueline Holliday, President of UPLAND, and one of our speakers at The FMC: Western Michigan Food Marketing Conference in 2025. Great first night! Today in Jersey City started with a tour of 99 Ranch Market a really cool Asian market, then ended with some interesting discussions on revenue growth management, GenAI, and revenue capabilities. Day 1 in Jersey City/Hoboken was a super mix of a brand new Whole Foods Market an Inserra ShopRite, some fish heads and a perfect NJ sign: Welcome to Jersey City, you can’t walk here! The best part was catching up with brother and sister Alden Wichman and Leah Wichman! Alden graduated in 2020 from Western Michigan University Food Marketing, and Leah graduates next year.
