#Safety is the key at Norconsult! 📢 On October 6, all employees hired from the beginning of 2023 participated in first aid and fire protection training. ✔First aid training in a practical form, allowed employees to acquire knowledge and skills that may be needed at the least expected moment - at work or during everyday life in life-threatening situations. Employees learned about different types of emergency situations from choking to cardiac arrest, and were able to learn the proper procedure and what to use during each situation. ✔ During fire protection theoretical training, employees had the opportunity to learn about fire protection responsibilities, as well as the elements we should pay attention to during evacuation. Employees also took part in the practical part of the training, during which everyone had the opportunity to extinguish a fire with a selected type of fire extinguishers, learn about the construction and use of an internal hydrant and learn about the difficult issue of evacuating people from a burning vehicle. 🚨 Thanks to BHP Center sp. z o. o. for organizing the training and giving us a solid dose of information! #safety #fireprotection #firstaid #trainings #beprepared #knowledge Edyta Czarnacka - Wacławik

I hope this post finds you well. Today, I want to emphasize the critical importance of work at height, fire safety, first aid, and manual handling certification for individuals and businesses alike. As we all know, emergencies can strike at any time, and being prepared can make a life-saving difference. First Aid Certification: Accidents and medical emergencies can happen anywhere, anytime. Whether it's a workplace injury, a sudden illness, or a bystander in need, having individuals with first aid certification can be invaluable. First aid certification equips individuals with the necessary skills to provide immediate medical assistance until professional help arrives. From administering CPR and controlling bleeding to treating burns and fractures, certified individuals can make a significant difference in saving lives and minimizing the severity of injuries. Work at Height Working at height remains one of the biggest causes of fatalities and significant injuries. Typical cases include falls from roofs, ladders, and fragile surfaces. Working at height requires proper precautions to safeguard workers from falling, resulting in serious injury. Employers must ensure that such tasks are conducted with all precautionary measures. A working at height training program helps an organization achieve its obligations to fulfill legal requirements and Operational Control requirements of ISO 45001:2018. Manual Handling: Manual Handling is the activity of transporting or maintaining a load by hand or bodily force, including lifting, pushing, tugging, carrying, tossing, and moving objects. It is widely used in various industries, including manufacturing, agriculture, construction, retail, etc. Over time, Manual Handling can cause various serious bodily strains and injuries. That's why proper Manual Handling awareness is essential to ensure that hazards are recognized and safe work methods are used. #Firesafety #Workatheight #Firstaid #manualhandling #GWO #GreenkoGroups #Eduforce #Safety #Safetyawareness #GlobalWindOrganization #Hazards #APFireService #HazardManagement #Wind
