Google issued a CVE earlier this month for a critical vulnerability that is under active exploitation. It has been revealed that the vulnerability affects the libwebp image library, which is responsible for displaying images in the WebP format. With the prevalence of applications that are currently using the WebP image library it could be a while till we see patches reaching saturation. Now is a great time to get those software updates rolling out and those containers reviewed. #infosec #cybersec
