It’s a privilege to be at #SCSPSummit23 and hear from Ukraine’s Minister of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin on the importance of technological innovation in the ongoing war. Technology and innovation will also be essential in Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction. The Modern Marshall Plan for Ukraine from the German Marshall Fund of the United States is a clear road map for this process. #ukraine #gmf 🇺🇦

🌍 At the Ukraine Recovery Conference-2024 in Berlin, the Ukrainian delegation presented an art project supporting Ukrainian producers as part of the state policy "Made in Ukraine", and we, Ajax Systems, were among the represented companies. The "IRON HEART OF UKRAINE" is a cube-shaped installation created at the initiative of Ukrainian manufacturers and with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. We are proud to be part of an important context of our time. Despite everything, we continue to work: our production, R&D departments, and headquarters are located in Ukraine. Thanks to 360° video and audio, the conference attendees could immerse themselves in the atmosphere of real Ukrainian enterprises and see that the industry is continuing to work. Thus, the audience could virtually visit one of our production facilities and see the "inner kitchen" of the Ajax product assembly stage. The outside screens of the cube depicted a model of a steel heart that works despite all the challenges that Ukrainian manufacturers are currently facing. Inside, there is footage from the "Made in Ukraine" production facilities, which are not stopped by a full-scale war, constant shelling, power outages, or terrorist attacks by russia. 🇺🇦 "Made in Ukraine" is a government policy initiated by Ukraine's President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to promote the development of Ukrainian producers, attract investment in the real sector, and expand non-resource exports. BAZA Agency worked on the implementation of the technological solution and the creation of the concept.

The final Resolution of Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA) resumes all main statements of large expert community driven by UCA regarding Industry 4.0-5.0 in Ukraine In particular the Resolution attract attention of State bodies and international partners to the 3 main issues 1) weaknesses of the State institutions responsible for twin transition of SMEs in Ukraine 2) direct link of I4.0-5.0 to Security & Defence issues . 3) very poor state of main policies. UCA makes a clear proposal of 8-top instruments Ukraine should develop to strengthen industrial innovative ecosystems In August UCA will continue dialogues with partners to find right decisions in the strategic perspective of Recovery.

MHPSS Officer, IOM Ukraine | MA, PhD Candidate with 5+ years of experience managing MHPSS Programmes in Emergencies | Specializes in Programme Coordination, Technical Leadership, Advocacy, and Awareness-Raising
**“Do No Harm”: Charting Ukraine’s MHPSS Roadmap for a Resilient Future** The call for MHPSS in Ukraine is louder than ever. It's essential that we lean into tried and tested methods to answer this demand. Ukraine, vast and diverse, showcases its robust government structure even in challenging times. We see a paramount need to seamlessly blend international expertise and resources with governmental ones to upgrade and modernize the MHPSS system, ensuring it meets current challenges head-on. Under the guidance of the MHPSS Technical Working Group, a comprehensive roadmap has been charted. This roadmap, aimed at consolidating efforts, has the esteemed endorsement of Ukraine's First Lady, Mrs. Olena Zelenska. Given the protracted war emergency and its consequential shifts, it's imperative that all involved parties align and coordinate their initiatives, optimizing outcomes. Key pillars of strategy: - Launching a primary coordination center, augmented by regional branches. - Ensuring ongoing professional development in MHPSS. - Committing to continuous support. - Cultivating leadership capacities, while integrating best practices from global experts. - Harmonizing the synergies of both governmental and non-governmental sectors. At a recent workshop, we actively delved into various perspectives, collaborating in focused groups to refresh our roadmap. The underlying principle: collective and diverse contributions amplify the roadmap's efficacy. I'm genuinely excited to continue contributing to this initiative, and I extend my gratitude to the WHO and the Coordination Center on MHPSS of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for steering this journey. United, we envision a future where Ukraine stands resilient, mentally and emotionally. #TWG #WHO #IOM #IOM_Ukraine #Roadmap #MHPSS

Senior Project Manager at Rasmussen Global | Consulting professional managing projects in defence, security and public policy at both national, EU and international level
An eventful week for the defence industry🪖 With DALO Industry Days taking place this week, stakeholders from industry and government gathered for exhibitions and discussions on how to adjust to a new European security landscape with war back on the continent. At Rasmussen Global we were happy to contribute when Anders Fogh Rasmussen delivered a keynote address at DI Forsvar og sikkerhed’s Defence Industry Conference on Tuesday. Three key takeaways stand out: 1) We are in a battle between autocracies and democracies. 2) This requires Western countries to increase defence spending significantly, rebuild their defence structures, and commit to long-term security guarantees that enable Ukraine to defend itself. 3) For this to happen, Europe must deepen the production capacity of its defence industrial base. This requires that governments turn words into action and move from spending pledges to actual, long-term contracts that allow the industry to make the necessary investments. Thanks for all the good conversations and discussions. And a special thanks you to Joachim Finkielman for good and professional cooperation. If we did not get a chance to talk, do feel free to reach out. We look forward to continue our engagement with stakeholders across the industry! #dkforsvar #dkbiz #dkpol

Once again I had the chance to explain the principles of solid oxide fuel cells and why I'm working with ceramic tubes as thick as a human hair. If you speak Estonian (or want to practise it), you can read the article following the link: https://lnkd.in/dck38cVY
Be sure to grab today's issue of Tartu Postimees or read it online! Glen, Laura and Tanel gave an interview to journalist Kristofer Seema from Tartu Postimees about how fuel cells work, why the technology GaltTec is developing is different from others and how NATO DIANA programme will affect our course.
