The Big Feedback with fries and Coke to go 🍔🍟 Whether a burger lover or a pizza fan, the feedback burger actually has little in common with food. 👉 It is a method of giving constructive feedback. Of course, as with any method, there are advantages and disadvantages. Our apprentices learned about both during the six-day so-called practical mile. But not only that. 🔹 Dominik: "You cannot not communicate, even if you're rather shy." 🔹 Sebastian: "Thanks to the playful tasks, we were able to put what we learned into practice right away and consolidate it." 🔹 Carmen: "We grew together as a team and became even better." 🔹 Floris: "We also learned how to deal better with our fellow human beings." Together with trainer Andrea Sulzer, they experienced the adventure of communication first hand and got to know the importance of teamwork and feedback culture, as well as a few things about themselves. 👀 At the final presentation, it was clear to see how much fun all of them had at the workshop. Our “Young Stars” now have the right ingredients to become true communication professionals. 💪🗯 Thanks a lot to Andrea and our apprentices. 💙 Pictures: © Andrea Sulzer & © Roland Spedition #rolandspedition #apprenticeship #logisticsjobs #team #logisticstalent #rolandyoungstars

Digital Content Specialist at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. | Inspiring brand loyalty through creative copywriting, smart email, and rich website stories
I brew a Chemex *every* morning. But that doesn’t mean I know coffee deeply. Reading the Dave Eggers book "The Monk of Mokha," a harrowing (true) story about Yemeni coffee, has been a knowledge boost and catalyst to seek more. The timing, then, of an email/blog series by Counter Culture Coffee is 👌. Their fun illustrations and enticing copy make it easy to jump from my inbox to full posts like: Why do farmers grow different coffee varieties? Who’s feeding your interests with solid educational content?
Field Trip takes your taste buds on a journey 💕 Education is a core value for Counter Culture Coffee, and Field Trip celebrates education throughout coffee supply chains. Whether exchanging ideas about adapting to a changing climate or empowering you to make delicious coffee at home, we’re committed to sharing knowledge in the pursuit of coffee perfection. In the culinary field, there is a difference between **training** and **learning**. Let's explore these differences: 1. **Culinary Training Programs**: Culinary training programs are short-term courses designed to teach aspiring chefs the basic skills and techniques required to succeed in the culinary industry. These programs are hands-on and practical, focusing on real-world experience rather than theory. Examples of culinary training programs include apprenticeships, certificate programs, and workshops. - Provides an opportunity to gain practical experience and apply skills. -Usually more affordable than culinary schools¹. 2. **Culinary schools**: Culinary schools are academic institutions that offer long-term courses in the culinary arts. Culinary schools cover a wide range of subjects, including culinary techniques, food science, management and entrepreneurship. - Provides comprehensive education covering all aspects of the culinary industry. - Offers degrees and certificates recognized by the culinary industry. - Helps students secure internships and job opportunities after graduation¹. In short, **Culinary Training Programs** focus on hands-on training and practical skills, while **Culinary Schools** offer a comprehensive education covering a broader range of subjects. Choosing the best depends on your personal goals and your aspiration to learn and apply

What a year! I am thrilled to share that I have successfully finished my Master 2 GRH-PI at University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as concluded my apprenticeship at Ankorstore. During this year, I was lucky enough to learn about HR Management, Labour Law (collective and individual), Payroll, Health & Safety and so much more! As I embark on a new work and academic one-year adventure, I wanted to share this graphic, taken from my end of studies paper. I analysed the quantitative links between different elements of a Compensations & Benefits policy and job satisfaction. In this particular question, I wanted to know what elements were seeing as being part of a package. Very few consider that their variable pay is part of their compensation. Work conditions and learning budget are also not really taken into consideration. Benefits, on the other hand… are very much top of mind! Why does this happen? I allowed myself to give some insight on this and more C&B related topics on my paper, but if this topic interests anyone I would love to have a chat with a coffee to discuss it further! I wish everyone to have a lovely end of Q3 and Q4!
