WalkMe™ an Israeli firm that helps companies to adopt new digital technologies, has been purchased by SAP SE, a German multinational specializing in business software, for approximately $1.5 billion. SAP says its executive and supervisory boards and WalkMe’s board of directors approved the purchase for $14.00 per share in an all-cash transaction. The offer price, SAP says, is 45 percent higher than WalkMe’s closing share price on June 4, 2024. “We are thrilled to join forces with SAP.
