Being moving fast between more than a company in two years sucks, really SUCKS! After attending 2 or 3 interviews per week as a minimum for 3 months without having feedback which might help really annoying. I ended up receiving "we'll see and get back to you" And the company reopen the position in 1 or 2 weeks! Definitely, but I obviously haven't enjoyed the volatility of my employment over the last two years I do enjoy the grind of building pipeline, the thrill of a cold call, talking pricing with someone who actually needs your product, coaching a brand new SDR as they dive into outbounding and then cheering them on as they move into a closing role... and so much more on the personal side. If you're hiring for an AE, Sales positions or Biz Dev leadership position or any other commercial role and you're committed to the position for which you're hiring -- TRULY committed -- you're not going to find someone hungrier than myself.

That candidate you said would be awesome for the role was actually better than that. Love when this happens when you present someone that is completely different to what “they’ve” hired before. It’s all about taking a proper brief, knowing your audience and also years and years of building your network so you can fill what “they” call a hard to fill role in less than a week! #ittakesyearstomaster #talentacquisition #imakethislookeasyduetolonghoursandbloodyhardwork.

Founder | Director | Providing Diverse Talent | Customised Talent Solutions | Headhunter | Matching people to their dream roles | Career Transition Coach
Most of my clients engage with us when they have niche roles to fill that require headhunting and managing a candidate through the process. I get a complete buzz from finding that needle in a haystack and placing them with my client where they have tried for months and not succeeded. This is my core business and I LOVE my work. Over the past year since Love Your Work has been operating I have placed Sales and Marketing Professionals, Finance Managers, Technology candidates, People and Culture Managers and even Scientists! Often the client has engaged with a "Specialist Recruiter" in that specific space and does not got the results. When you have been doing this for 30 years (like me) it does not matter what industry or type of role it is - my role to placement ratio in the past year has been 90.9%! #loveyourwork #recruitment #headhunter
We know how challenging it can be to fill senior-level roles in the tech industry, and we have plenty of experience doing so! But don't just take our word for it, here's what one client had to say about working with Love Your Work. 👇 If you're hiring and you're ready to find the perfect candidate, we would love to introduce you to some of the rare gems in our network. Great Account Execs have had enough 😩 A wake up call to founders and leaders ☕️ _____ Despite mass layoffs, growth challenges and less vacancies across the industry An alarming % of the sellers I speak to Are proactively looking for a new opportunity Or they’ve left without securing a new role ______ Why? 1 - They’re earning less than ever (unrealistic quotas) 2 - Less sellers and more workload expectations 3 - Career development is bottom of the priority list 4 - Being forced to return to the office 5 - They don’t have the necessary support or resources they need to succeed ——- Why should you care? - They can’t pay the bills - They are burning out - They aren’t growing - Work is harming their home life - Their role has lost meaning Ultimately all these issues are caused by erosion of culture Company’s aren’t living their values They aren’t keeping the promises they made to their employees (Or their customers) And people are voting with their feet walking 🚶 🚶♂️ 🚶♀️ _____ ❌ Bad news if you’re a company leader You’re losing your top talent, future leaders of the business But it’s never too late to change ✔️ Good news if you’re a hiring leader for a company with an awesome culture There’s A players out there on the look out for new opportunities. Company’s with people focused cultures will win long term —— If you’re one of these companies Feel free to tag me in your hiring posts And I’ll share with my network of great AEs ——- I'm Aaron Norris 🚴♂️ 🏃♂️ Click my name + follow + 🔔 Please like and repost to share with your network ♻️

A friend wanted to apply for a Senior Director role at a $20B org. I told her to not apply and to do this instead: 1. Use LinkedIn to map the potential hiring process. 2. Use Apollo.io to scrape the email of each. 3. Craft a custom email to the Senior VP with a value prop. She immediately took action and went to LinkedIn. She found a few potential hiring managers and also the Senior VP. She signed up for Apollo and got their emails within seconds. She wrote a custom email with a value prop for the Senior VP. Within 3 business days she got a response. The Senior VP forwarded her resume to the hiring manager and cc'ed her. Literally a shortcut to the hiring manager. She hasn't even applied and she has now cut through the noise. It's a tough job market out there. If you want to secure a better opp... A little bit of precision effort upfront may be what helps you stand out in a good way. Do you agree?
