🌈 Reflecting on the End of LGBT+ History Month: A Call to Action 🌈 As we bid farewell to LGBT+ History Month, it's crucial to acknowledge the progress we've made in promoting inclusivity and understanding. However, the end of this designated month should not mark the conclusion of our efforts. There is still much work to be done, and our commitment to fostering a diverse and accepting society must extend beyond a mere 28 or 30 days. As we move forward, let's channel our collective energy into a few actionable steps we can take: ✨ If you manage people, make sure you understand the policies that would impact LGBT+ people. ✨Show your support for equality visibly and talk about how inclusion relates to your every day work. ✨ Commit to being an active bystander and challenging anti-LGBT+ language and behaviour. ✨ Find a way to lend your skills to the LGBT+ inclusion work happening in your organisation. Let's remember that our commitment to equality is not confined to a single month. It's an ongoing journey that requires collective action. Together, we can create a world where everyone is accepted, valued, and celebrated for who they are. #LGBTQ+ #InclusivityMatters #EqualityForAll 🌍🏳️🌈

🫣 More than a third of LGBT staff (35%) have hidden that they are LGBT at work for fear of discrimination. 🗣️ Almost one in five LGBT staff (18%) have been the target of negative comments or conduct from work colleagues because they’re LGBT. 🛡️ In more than half the world, LGBT people may not be protected from discrimination by workplace law. 💰Results from a survey suggests that the LGBT pay gap is around 16% (Sources: Stonewall, The Independent) Pride Month is about celebrating our communities and the progress made towards equality, whilst also recognising there is still a way to go. At Finyx we treat all our employees with respect, regardless of background and demographics, and continue to work on ensuring inclusion is part of our day to day so that everyone can feel comfortable bringing their full selves to work. *The Q on LGBTQ+ has been left out to maintain accuracy of the above findings, however we recognise it within the acronym
