Today I am taking part in the conference called "Day of New Technologies". This event brings together experts from Croatia and abroad for the purpose of discussing the possibilities that exist in applying new technologies. One item on the agenda is satellite communications. The results of this year's service quality measurement for Croatia's three mobile communications operators will be reviewed. Guess whose network is the best? Hrvatski Telekom!

An interesting report on the broadband situation in Europe today. Greece in particular surprised me... The austerity measures and the fiscal constraints certainly impacted the amount of public funds available for investment in rural broadband infrastructure. Private companies have been cautious in making significant investments in less populated areas. The "Digital Bible" of Greece could transform this by 2025. Time will tell. https://lnkd.in/dwDWzVDY

❗ Two reports are considered the most influential in shaping the next European Commission’s agenda. One is yet to be published—Mario Draghi’s report—and the other—“Much more than a Single Market: speed, security, solidarity” by former Italian PM Enrico Letta—has already been making waves across the EU since April 2024. 💡 Letta’s report is an extensive 147-page analysis divided into six main chapters, each offering something that tech and telecommunications enthusiasts could be interested in. ➡ Click on the link below to read Egle Markeviciute's latest article, which explores the ideas that are specifically relevant to European digital and electronic communications transformations.
