Today was a special day. We were on-site at the Illinois Youth Center in Warrenville to prep for kick off for our first The Simple Good program supporting Incarcerated Youth in partnership with the ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF JUVENILE JUSTICE. Humbled to be invited to bring Social Emotional Learning through the arts into this critical space and push our youth in the system to find their meaning of ‘the simple good’ to fuel positive change in the world. Thank you Heidi Mueller and Robert Vickery for making this possible. We look forward to amazing things to come 🙏🏽

Nice to meet Governor of Illinois, J.B. Pritzker, and share the work of The Simple Good. Let’s get more support around our #SocialEmotionalLearning based arts programs to support the #mentalhealth of our youth post-pandemic and really spread #thesimplegood to us all!
