Ever thought if your career could be at risk because of a missing skill? Or thought of losing a job opportunity or failing to connect with your team, all because of a simple gap? It's not technical skills we're talking about. It's something more crucial—the set of skills that stands out as a game-changer. They can make or break your success: soft skills. If you're doubting whether you have them, you’re not alone. Many professionals overlook these essential skills, only to realize their importance too late. I belonged to that club (so I know where the shoe pinches). Because I’ve learned from hard (and harsh) experience, I’ve put together a list of the most essential soft skills that are valued the most. And as my name goes, I wanted to be a little creative. 😊 Would be Happy if you find it useful. Happier if you let me know that. Business Development Head at Analy Assist | Business Consultant | IB fellow at Marquee Equity | PR&Sponsorship Head at FINMARK | Human Resource Management | Member at COMSOC | Management | Marketing | Strategy | Growth
Hey there! 👋 I've been managing a team at Analy Assist for a while now, and along the way, I've picked up some valuable lessons that have completely transformed the way I handle things. 🚀 Let's explore these lessons together: 👉Patience is Paramount 🕰️ We've all been there – those moments when you want to shout at someone for messing up, but you can't (at least not out loud!). It's a crucial lesson I've learned - keeping your cool is a manager's superpower. How do you handle these situations? 👉Establish Boundaries🚧 It's not always easy, especially when you're of a similar age to most of your team members, but sometimes, you need to assert your authority. How do you strike the right balance in setting boundaries ? 👉Motivation in the Darkest Moments💪 In the business world, there are days when you feel like you've hit rock bottom. Even during these tough times, motivating your team is non-negotiable. Can you share a story of a time when your motivation made a significant difference? In summary, my journey in team management has led to substantial personal growth, but the learning never stops! 📈 Let's keep this conversation going. What's your take on these lessons? Do you have any insights or experiences to share on #startup, #entrepreneurship, #career, #growth, or #communication? 👥 Stay tuned for more insights and experiences as we continue to evolve in the realm of team management! 🌟

Unpopular Opinion: 👀 I get a lot of messages around people having mentors. I think this is wonderful and there is so much you can learn from mentors from a work perspective - it is really beneficial for your career. HOWEVER, from a recruitment process side of things, your mentor may not be able to unlock those doors and help you with the recruitment process. HOW NOT? Well, some mentors may have got their grade or position at a time when the recruitment process was totally different and it was competency based, not success profile based. The recruitment process has changed and is totally different from years ago, so utilise your mentor and pick up skills ,tips, tricks etc and if you are lucky, your mentor is the full package and knows the current recruitment process! But if they did get their grade or role a while ago, don't panic, we can help with the more specific skills around the CURRENT recruitment process. We work with lots of clients who work with us around the recruitment process and work with their mentors for more specific work related day to day stuff. If this sounds like the position you are in, drop us a message. :) #mentor #success #nwj #startup #civilservice

Can a growth mindset trump skills in a growth team? 🤔 For me, it's all about finding the right balance... 👇 While skills are (of course) important, I believe that a person's capabilities can be enhanced tenfold with the right mindset. 💡This is because, when trying to scale a startup, what you know right now might not be as important as what you can learn to do tomorrow. Experimentation combined with continuous learning and trial-and-error is the key to exponential growth, which is why its vital your growth team has a willingness to embrace new challenges. 💪 Those with a growth mindset are not only ready to step outside their comfort zone, but they also are always open to learning new skills and evolving their existing ones - making them invaluable assets. Skills are, no doubt, important in tackling immediate tasks. However, in the long run, a growth mindset ensures your company doesn't stay stagnant. So, in my opinion, a growth mindset doesn't necessarily outshine skills in a growth team, but it certainly contributes to a more flexible, adaptable, and ultimately successful enterprise. Do you agree? Let me know in the comments 👇 #GrowthMindset #SkillsMatter #BuildingTeams

I facilitate your Career Growth with actionable guidance | 100K on Instagram | 10,000+ lives transformed | 500+ sessions delivered | Resume Review | Interview Coach | AI tools for Career Growth | RMoC at Niti Ayog
The most valuable lesson from my 1:1 coaching sessions? Mindset and discipline are best developed within a supportive community. I realized that while I was helping professionals with self-analysis and skills, we overlooked mindset. Through research, I discovered that community catalyzes the right mindset and discipline. So I brought community building into my sessions. The results astonished me... > After 10 failed attempts, a fresher cleared his interview by working on his routine and learning discipline from his peers. > Two brilliant engineering minds collaborated and are now working on an innovative SaaS project, together. > There is healthy competition and everyone in the community tries to become a better version of themselves. I saw 3 key benefits of community building: > Collaboration - professionals learned from each other, tapping into collective wisdom. > Growth - the community cultivated a learning spirit and growth mindset. > Networking - professionals expanded connections, opening new opportunities. As a coach, I get immense satisfaction seeing my mentees lift each other up. Have you experienced the power of community for your professional growth? #careergoals #careercoach #mindsetbuilding

Director of Sales & Growth 📈 | Personal Development Champion 🏆 | Mentor | Evangelizing the Next Evolution of Billing Systems! ⚙️
One of the best things I did for my career was join a startup 🚀 The exposure I've had to so many different aspects of the business is second to none. From Ops to Marketing, to Sales & Customer Success... Understanding what keeps the business running at a Macro level has been VERY helpful! ⚙️ That, along with the nurturing and coaching of the Execs I've had the pleasure to learn from has helped me grow as a Sales Professional more holistically, but also into the leader I am today! I know it can be hard at times to slow down, or stop and look back at all who have affected your growth trajectory Especially with how busy we all are in our day-to-day But it is important to recognize those key contributors and those who have put time and effort into your growth without looking for anything in return. 🪴 Give them a shout today, whether it be a text, call, or email. They deserve their flowers too! 💐 - T #Coaching #Mentorship #GrowthMindset #Startup
