Really useful session at Mills & Reeve's offices yesterday, on Mastering Networking, with Co.next - Norfolk Chambers of Commerce. It was really interesting to see how the basic sales principles - being authentic, being genuinely interested in the person you are speaking to, following up - translates across different mediums. If anyone has any suggestions for local networking events, I'm all ears! #networking #sales #businessgrowth

I had a great day at the Launch North West networking event this morning. It was filled some fab people from an area of the north west I love and feels like my second home (after my actual home!). It really felt like all the people present were there to support each other and help each other achieve. Some fabulous pitches also! Booked more than just one really good 121 in the diary. #networkingevent #launchnorthwest #leigh #financialeducation #workplaceeducation #financialadvice

Last opportunity to book your ticket for tomorrow night’s Cocktails & Conversations networking event. It starts at 7pm and runs til late at The Vault, Old Town, Swindon. Good conversations happen when you meet people with shared values & interests. Tomorrow I will be joined by 40 people who value community, getting together to connect and share, without the structured networking sales pitch, they want to have natural conversations with a cocktail or mocktail in hand! If you like the sound of this book your ticket using the link in the comments! #swindonnetworking #wiltshire #networkingevents #swindonbusiness

When it comes to joining chambers of commerce, many people default to the ones with the largest memberships or urban opportunities. But here's the thing - bigger doesn't always mean better. Here's why you should consider smaller, local chambers: 1️⃣ Stand out as a leader: Smaller chambers allow you to showcase your expertise and become a valuable member in the community. 2️⃣ Engage on a personal level: Get involved in committees and build meaningful connections with fellow members. 3️⃣ Consider multiple chambers: If you can afford it, joining multiple chambers can widen your network and opportunities. As a business owner, it's essential to view your chamber membership as a strategic marketing tool: ✅ Utilize the resources and events offered by the chamber to promote your business. ✅ Tap into the power of networking and building relationships within the community.
