Does this sound familiar? 👇 ...too familiar The traditional Recruitment Process that 90% of small businesses use, normally results in 30-40 CV’s to scan through and choose from over a 2-3 week period. Then they have to arrange interviews and chase people up to come to the interview. They often put aside a full day for interviewing, only for half of the applicants to not even turn up. A nice and succinct post Michael Gray. I've always advocated and worked to two main maxims, both of which address some of the 'pitfalls', that you outline below. 1.). Act at pace, but with due consideration. 2). Work to a 'high touch, high comms' methodology. Clearly one needs a good, clear process too. But above all else it's about good execution/delivery and that requires prioritisation and strong comm's skills. Keep up the good work.
