My 2c, this is not a surprising move. In contrast, Porsche buying a smaller bike brand was, to me. Trying to capture meaningful market share as a full bike brand in the conservative, and at times typical cottage industry of cycling, is a challenge many industrial concerns decide not to pursue (or don't manage to achieve success in). As Paul Turner called it, the "Fairy Dust" is hard for many a structured entity to grasp. Pivoting strategy to delivering a motor system, based on the holding and Porsche brand's industry-transcending acclaim, is likeley to deliver far more in the long run. The eBike drivetrain market needs multiple capable and high-quality suppliers if it is to mature into a mainstream market product; just like cars. I wish the Greyp Bikes crew lots of success.

And so it was already the second time for MOTUL that the Bike Care range was showcased at EUROBIKE Show, the world's leading event for the bicycle industry. Integrated into the presence of the local Germany-based distribution partner Messingschlager GmbH Co. KG, 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝟮𝗕 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, e.g. for bicycle workshops, were presented to the global audience in addition to the main act: The 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝟮𝗖 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀-𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆. As another highlight, the 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀, which are divided into an on-road and off-road range, were presented as 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗖𝗜 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀. As sponsor of the Team Cofidis and the BMC Racing Team, Motul was in the meanwhile also able to obtain valuable feedback from the use of its Bike Care products in a professional context at both competitions. Overall, Eurobike shows that 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 - the consistent change towards comprehensive sustainability, innovation in all product and functional areas and the responsible takeover of the role as a driver of mobility change are not new approaches or insights - but a strong sign of consistency and continuous further development. I am therefore all the more pleased that Motul is now repeatedly part of this important industry event and can make its own contribution to change. The #IAA is now the #IAAmobility and the new #Car is an #eBike fantastic to see how Tomi Viiala is accelerating the #Mobility #transformation Great to hear that for Stromer Bikes the IAA MOBILITY works just as well as the #Eurobike because that is how we replace as many car rides as possible!
