As a passionate advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, I had the opportunity to engage in a meaningful conversation on the social and financial impacts of incorporating EDI into organizational culture and corporate strategy at Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, 2024 EDI Forum. It's not just about compliance or PR; it's a core element of our mission and business strategy. At Accenture, we foster an environment where everyone can be their authentic selves to truly belong and thrive. Kudos to Rob Chiarello (He, Him) for his excellent facilitation of the panel discussion, Martin Thibodeau for challenging norms in the Banking industry with ERGs to enhance customer connections, and Kory Wilson for her powerful insights on advancing Indigenous reconciliation efforts. Many learnings today from the keynote speakers, panel discussions and table conversations. Together, we must keep a strong focus on EDI to build better communities, cultivate more empathy, and empower future generations. #GVBOT #EDIConference #Accenture
