Inspired by our studio's rich legacy of creativity and innovation, the Pixar Living Archives is excited to bring a selection of Pixar's creative past directly to your feed. Once a month, we'll spotlight a piece from the Pixar archives. Today we bring you this marker and correction fluid on paper drawing by Daniel Holland from Inside Out (2015).
I love these insights into the creative process. A lot has been said and written about Pixar's technological prowess over the years – and with good reason. But the creativity and dedication to narrative perfection driving it all is just as impressive. Pixar may very well be the most consistent storytelling powerhouse of our times, and not only for animated movies but across the board. Hats off!
Wow! It's amazing to see the early stages of the creative process.
Love this concept type drawing and the colors
They laid everyone off so all you’re going to see IS “past” creative.
Wow, it's so amazing to see the hardwork that goes behind our favourite animations
A great glimpse into the creative thought process that went into it. Thanks for sharing!

1moI'm appreciating these glimpses behind the curtain. There's something magical about seeing the inside of people's heads captured on paper so simply.
