Joule doing the heavy lifting on ABAP or CAP or RAP coding is uber cool! Kudos! It will free human minds and hands to do more meaningful and purposeful work. But I - no WE - WE want more, a lot more. We SAP BTP Architects want Joule to discover, design, build, test, deploy solutions - migrations and integrations and identity propagation at scale between SAP and non-SAP; and rinse and repeat when the vendor - SAP / others release a patch that should be adopted. Maybe an early Christmas gift (this year!)?

Forgive me for being just a little bit sceptical based on what SAP showed off at the recent keynote https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/scrutinizing-abap-genai-example-from-sap-sapphire-keynote-petersen-brjof But it's a start, here's hoping for better things to come. PS. it looks like the screenshot attached to this post is the same code as the keynote demo. Definitely neither clean nor modern.

Absolutely incredible! The potential of GenAI is astounding! I’m eager to see it in action. We should definitely integrate it with our reporting and self-service portals, enabling end-users to interact with data and processes to create insightful and informed perspectives. Additionally, Joule should be integrated with SAP Signavio to leverage process excellence and digital twin capabilities. Since Joule already harnesses SAP learning content, it raises an exciting question: will it also be able to incorporate clients' unique data and SOPs, given that every SAP setup is unique and might be customized? This could be a game-changer!
Can‘t wait to see it in action for our customers who want to go to RISE and apply clean core.
As Dr. Philipp Herzig noted, we have had a lot of progress in our Joule copilot and ABAP tools and our partnership with NVIDIA has helped us accelerate this work. We have appreciated the close alignment and work with them in developing new capabilities for our customers.

3wLooks great in demo, but there is still a gap in the consulting skills inherited by Joule through SAP documentation as mentioned in Nvidia’s blog v/s what an actual consulting solution looks like for clients using SAP. There is an SAP proposed way of setting up the business processes v/s rhe client’s proposal of how a certain business process should run on SAP, I think this is where Joule’s capabilities of generating the ABAP code reducing the turnaround on generating custom applications will help give clients and edge on using SAP
