Almost 200,000 spectators at the MotoGP race in Jerez, Spain. (you can fill Camp Nou in Bacelona 2 times...) The highest attended event in MotoGP™ history. A sea of fans flooded the circuit and the city. The infectious passion for MotoGP was everywhere. Fans were everywhere. ✅ A testament to the sport's dynamic, entertaining and exhilarating nature. Beyond the track, the escalating audience figures and the historic turnout at the Spanish GP are indicative of the flourishing time the sport is currently enjoying. The passion and sense of community that fans showed is something truly special. A unique opportunity for brands. This is not simply about watching a race: → It is the shared experience of a passionate community → The creation of lasting, meaningful memories → A sense of belonging to something greater A single platform to connect with and captivate your audience on a deep, meaningful level... ...at each race, in each country, consistently. Fans are there, millions of them. Eagerly awaiting for brands to participate and create lasting, impactful experiences. ___________ P.S. For context of just how many people we are talking about… The 300,000 turnout would: ・Fill Camp Nou Stadium 2 times... ・Fill Wembley Stadium over 2 times… ・Fill Arthur Ashe Stadium 8 times... ・Fill Madison Square Garden 9 times… ・Fill Twickenham Stadium 2 times... ... And these are arguably some of the most well known sporting venues in the world, with brands falling over themselves to get in front of attendees. #motorsport #fanengagement

Today marks the day, 30 years ago, that Ayrton Senna was tragically killed. Three decades after his death at Imola, the great Brazilian driver remains a revered but controversial figure in motorsport. From this list, here’s my fave race featuring him … 4. The Ayrton Senna legend is born: Monaco Grand Prix 1984 … “It will be really a tragic result for Senna. However, while he’s not about to be world champion this year, he will undoubtedly be world champion in the future if his career continues.” Thus spoke BBC commentator and 1976 world champion James Hunt, having witnessed one of the great wet weather performances of all time. Senna, behind the wheel of a decidedly mid-to-back-of-the-field Toleman, had made his way to second place by Lap 19 of the 1984 Monaco Grand Prix, as drivers of the calibre of Niki Lauda and Nigel Mansell were spinning off all around him. UNDERDOG TALES: When Senna took the F1 paddock by storm with Toleman and made Monaco’s streets his own Between Lap 27 and Lap 31 – the last lap before race official Jacky Ickx (ironically a notorious regenmeister himself) controversially threw the red flag to stop proceedings – Senna had gained on race leader Alain Prost by an average of 3.7 seconds a lap, passing him for the lead across what became the finish line on Lap 32 but falling back to second in the final countback. Was he robbed? It’s a question that can still excite F1 fans down the pub today. Whatever your opinion, though, there was no doubt that Senna’s drive that day had been one of the most special in F1 history. Inspiration beyond limits: Fernando Alonso has been an inspiration and role model for me since I was just five years old. And after this weekend, I've come to realize that Fernando Alonso's example is important for everyone, whether they have an interest in motorsport or not. Alonso has been a Formula 1 driver since 2001, with only three seasons of absence (2002, 2019, and 2020). He is a two-time World Champion and holds the record for the most Formula 1 starts (376 races under his belt). To put this in perspective, he made his F1 debut a month before the current F1 driver, Oscar Piastri, was even born. However, beyond his success, Alonso has faced his fair share of challenges. He narrowly missed out on the championships in 2007, 2010, and 2012 by 1, 4, and 4 points, respectively. His last win came 10 years ago, and since then, he took a two-year break from Formula 1. In the face of adversity, many individuals might contemplate quitting or giving less than their best effort. But Fernando Alonso is not that kind of man. He demonstrated his talent and dedication at the beginning of this year when he showed remarkable form and collected many podiums in a strong car. Although that strong car form has faded in recent races, this hasn't stopped Fernando from giving his absolute best every time he gets behind the wheel. He continues to look for even the slightest improvements, regardless of how insignificant they may seem. This is why his performance in the Sao Paulo Grand Prix was so deeply inspiring to me. How often have we thrown in the towel or dialed back our commitment to our pursuits when faced with setbacks? How many opportunities have slipped through our fingers because we failed to show up after a bad day or a difficult year? Fernando Alonso has faced disappointment on numerous occasions, more times than some others have had opportunities, and yet he persists. He goes out every day and works harder than the day before in pursuit of excellence, I think there's a lot to learn from this 42 year old athlete that after 376 attempts, is still in pursuit of perfection. This is why to me, he is a true real-life example of resilience and determination.
