Produced using inkjet printing, they offer greater flexibility in size and design, enabling solar power generation to be expanded in ways not currently possible with traditional silicon-based solar cells. Stratasys - Dynamic roadways vehicles communicate and wireless recharging roadways i.e. inductive charging roads. For example, in 2017, a German company Siemens installed a 600-meter wireless charging road in Berlin. The road can wirelessly recharge electric buses as they drive over it. The most common question we are asked is what makes our technology unique. 🌱 In a world grappling with the challenges of environmental sustainability, it's crucial to evaluate 🤔 and redefine the methods we use to produce essential materials. Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), the most common process to produce carbon nanomaterials, is known for its high carbon and energy footprint, consuming a substantial ❗ 800 MWh of energy per ton of material produced. In contrast, UP Catalyst Technology: ✨ produces carbon nanomaterials but does so in a carbon-negative manner ✨reprocesses 3.7 tons of CO2 per ton of material produced ✨consumes only 13 MWh of energy ✨ the by-product is pure oxygen, which is harmless ✨is powered by renewable energy Carbon nanomaterials are essential for cleantech solutions, found in everything from car batteries to smartphones, high-end electronics, and biomedicine. However, the key question is whether the production of carbon nanomaterials should come at the expense of our environment. The electric battery has increased the penetration of motorisation and wirelessness in our lives. Electric batteries hold and release electrical energy that they have acquired by converting other forms of energy. The conventional variety acquires this from chemical energy. As portable sources of electric power, batteries are at the foundation of what convenience means today in industrialised societies. An expert tells us about Alfa Laval HyBloc™ technology. #hydrogen #technology #AlfaLaval #HyBloc As a hydrogen expert, I am impressed by the advances in refuelling stations for this clean fuel. A key issue is the pre-cooling of hydrogen before dispensing it into vehicles. I recently read an article by Alfa Laval describing their HyBloc™ technology, which I consider a breakthrough in this field. Traditionally, shell and coil heat exchangers were used for pre-cooling. Although they are economical, their large size makes installation difficult and lengthens recharge times. Alfa Laval offers an innovative solution: HyBloc™ printed circuit heat exchangers. Manufactured with diffusion bonding technology, they are up to 6 times smaller than previous models. Diffusion bonding technology creates exceptionally robust exchangers, capable of withstanding pressures up to 1250 bar. In addition, their compact design allows them to be integrated directly into the dispenser, eliminating the need for costly civil works. The advantages of HyBloc™ are manifold: - Ultra-compact size: It takes up 85% less space than traditional heat exchangers, making it easy to install in urban areas. - High reliability: Diffusion bonding eliminates the risk of leakage and ensures continuous operation with no waiting time between refills. - Superior performance: The design allows for highly efficient heat transfer, significantly shortening recharge times. In short, Alfa Laval's HyBloc™ technology represents a breakthrough in hydrogen refuelling stations. Its compact size, high reliability and excellent performance are key to the mass adoption of vehicles powered by this clean fuel - a significant step towards a sustainable future!
