Exciting developments in the HVAC industry! ☁️🌡️   We had the pleasure of speaking with Emilie STUMPF, Government Affairs Manager HVAC at Panasonic Europe and Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Europe, about the impact of the newly published European Building Directive (EPBD) and the pivotal role of digitalisation in shaping the future of the HVAC industry.   Emilie highlighted that by 2040, EU countries must set comprehensive plans to phase out stand-alone fossil fuel heating systems. From 2025, subsidies for stand-alone fossil fuel heating systems are to be abandoned, which should lead to a strategic shift towards incentivising heat pumps instead. Panasonic is at the forefront of this transformative shift, offering cloud services to monitor heat pumps. These services provide consumers with valuable insights into consumption patterns and installation efficiencies. Moreover, they empower installers and operators to proactively monitor systems and engage in preventive maintenance. The integration of digitalisation and IoT presents a remarkable opportunity to optimise HVAC installations, and Panasonic is fully committed to driving this evolution. 🌿🔧💡   The future of the HVAC industry is indeed promising, and at Panasonic, we are dedicated to leading the way in this transformative journey!   #HVAC #EPBD #Digitalization#Sustainability #PanasonicGreenImpact
