There’s more to work than pingpong tables. There’s more to work than open bar nights. There’s more to work than pizza nights. ↑ They might be fun once in a while, But they’re not things that improve our daily live. Flexibility does. For me, it’s transformed my relationships, my work, and my life. I’ve seen the impact on both myself and others. There’s no going back. Agree?
❌ Free pizza ❌ Holiday parties ❌ After-work drinks Today, it's about: - flexibility - great pay - meaningful work - supporting people's lifestyles
Tony Jamous Absolutely agree! Flexibility in work has a profound impact on our overall well-being and productivity. Thanks to Oyster and you this is possible and it is really transformative in the way people work. Great share!
Tony Jamous Thank you for saying aloud 👏 There is a fine balance between perks and flexibility. Every generation's priorities are different and one size rarely fits all. I always found it interesting that superficial perks were there to mask incredible inefficiencies and inflexibility.
Great post Tony. I reposted with my thoughts which is to add that employees want autonomy on how they operate / execute their role. It’s a powerful motivator when an employee has control on how they work.
I like the way you move on stage Tony. Presence. Keep it up. wink
It's all nice add-ons. But like with everything in life, if you don't get the basics right the sprinkles don't make it a good cake 😅
Why go to the same place every day, when we don't have to? Makes no sense to me. Great post, Tony Jamous
Indeed, there is no going back.
Its time we start adapting to the future👏🏼

1wFlexibility yes and also… supporting your employees in how to be effective with flexibility. So many companies come to us to support their people around flexibility / hybrid work months (or years) after they’ve made changes… It’s important to equip your people with the skills, tools and resources to achieve more success when we change policies. What do you think?
