[Port of Marseille-Fos] 🇫🇷 ⚓We are glad to see French ports, as significant as Grand Port Maritime de Marseille - Port de Marseille Fos, or Brest, investing in offshore wind energy. The French and European offshore wind industry need production spaces like the one planned in the Deos project in Marseille-Fos. This development will significantly increase the use of local content for French offshore projects, especially for concrete floaters. BW Ideol supports this vision and is fully aligned with this approach as we are already working closely with the Marseille-Fos port on the Fos3F project (cofinanced by ADEME). The plant, located in San Daniele (UD), will have a capacity of 1.62 MWp and represents GreenGo's entry in its ninth region of Italy. Giovanna La Piana, Head of Permit at GreenGo Srl, commented: "We are happy to set our first flag in Friuli-Venezia Giulia with the Marianne project. This result is an important step in our geographic expansion in the Italian peninsula, which will continue in the coming months to better diversify the distribution of plants not only by technology but also by geography given the regulatory instability we have been experiencing recently in regions such as Sardinia where our company has decided not to operate.” Fabio Domenico Amico, Business Development Director, reaffirms GreenGo’s commitment to all territorial contexts, be it agricultural or industrial, in the North or the South: "We firmly believe that the development of renewables for the Italian energy transition must be underpinned by a stable regulatory framework that promotes technologies with a positive impact on reducing the cost of electricity for the system and consumers. Our focus now shifts to the PNRR Agrivoltaics call for tenders opening in June, where we aim to nominate several projects." GreenGo thus achieves a concrete result in the ninth region of Italy, aiming to further strengthen its presence in the north-east and continuing to work, day by day, to exceed expectations in the field of renewable energies, driving development and initiating the construction of utility-scale plants.

🔊 One of the Technical Assistance projects of the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub in #Portugal 🇵🇹 has now completed the full cycle of the EPAH proposed methodology of #diagnosis, #planning, and #implementation. This is the result of over two years of collaborative work by multiple entities and persons. The Junta de Freguesia do Lumiar, in collaboration with Parceria Local Telheiras and with the assistance of Coopérnico and CENSE - Center for Environmental and Sustainability Research, Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, embarked on an #EPAH technical assistance with the goal to set up one of the first #citizen-led and #inclusive renewable energy communities in Portugal by tackling energy poverty and promoting energy democracy. ☀ A pilot renewable energy project with 13 solar panels (7.15 kWp) benefitting 17 community members, including 3 energy-poor families, and the parish council itself. ☀An inclusive financial model allowing the participation of vulnerable families without substantial upfront costs. ☀ Internal rules stressing equal participation as a non-profit. ☀ Participants recruitment and engagement of energy-poor families achieved through community efforts. ☀ Open-access guide for building local energy communities, aiming for replication in Lumiar Parish Council and alignment with Portugal's multi-level energy and climate policies. ☀Solar Panels were installed in the public building this week. 🎬 Discover more of the #EPAH technical assistance projects ➡ https://lnkd.in/gRb5K8P9 #CER #REC #SolarPV #TA #pobrezaenergética #apoiotécnico #localgovernments

The Port of Rotterdam, APS - Administração dos Portos de Sines e do Algarve, S.A., HAROPA PORT, DeltaPort GmbH & Co. KG are the main partners supporting the MAGPIE project. The MAGPIE Project consists of 10 work packages in which technical and non-technological innovations are tested and demonstrated. This are followed by an evaluation of the roll-out opportunities for the use in fellow ports.
