Exciting Visit from Saudi Arabian Delegation at ACHEMA 🤝 On Tuesday afternoon, Optima Pharma had the pleasure of hosting a very special visit. A distinguished fifteen-member delegation from Saudi Arabia, led by the Deputy Minister of Industry, H.E. Eng. Khalil Bin Salamah, visited our booth at ACHEMA. Gerhard Breu (Chairman), Dr. Johannes-Thomas Grobe (Vice Chairman), Juergen Rothbauer (Managing Director), Matthias Poslovski (Vice President Sales), and Nour Hussein (Director Sales MENA) warmly welcomed the delegation and provided an insightful tour of Optima's innovations and offerings. The day culminated in a remarkable evening event. Gerhard Breu and Nour Hussein attended a prestigious reception hosted by the Frankfurt am Main City Council, the Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (DECHEMA), and Messe Frankfurt GmbH. Held in the Kaisersaal of the Römer, the event celebrated ACHEMA's international significance. Meeting with the President of Kazakhstan sets the foundation for progress in healthcare collaboration. I’m delighted to share the prospect of stronger cooperation in healthcare as the outcome of a recent meeting with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. During talks in Berlin, the President highlighted STADA's strong market presence and success: STADA is one of the top companies in the Kazakhstani market and number one for consumer healthcare products. The company exemplifies successful and rapidly advancing collaboration, as evidenced by the relatively recent establishment of the STADA Eurasia business unit with regional HQ in Almaty. We discussed ways to better meet the needs of local patients through faster market access, streamlined registration, further state procurement development and liberalization of the reimbursement system. I expressed STADA’s keen interest in deepening cooperation and contributing our global pharmaceutical expertise to Kazakhstan's healthcare landscape. This collaboration marks a significant step in fostering innovation and growth in the pharmaceutical sector. STADA has become this year no. 1 in the overall Pharma market in Eurasia, due to the great job done in developing its core portfolio and to the successful roll-out of STADA’s recent marketing and distribution agreement with Sanofi.
