🏳️🌈 We are loving this year's Pride theme, #WeAreEverywhere and are thrilled that Naushine Robinson Assoc CIPD our DEI Manager, is serving as a Core Volunteer for Pride in London! Naushine's been heavily involved with Pride’s volunteer team, training and supporting over 800 amazing volunteers who will make this year's parade unforgettable. Her dedication and hard work are truly inspiring, and we're so proud to see her play a vital role in celebrating London's vibrant LGBTQ+ community. To everyone attending Pride on Saturday 29th, we wish you an incredible day filled with joy, love, and acceptance ✨ #DEI #PrideMonth #LGBTQ+

June has arrived, and with it comes a time for celebration, reflection, and unity as we honor #PRIDEMonth2024. This month, we join millions worldwide in recognizing the resilience, courage, and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community. PRIDE Month is more than just a time for parades and festivities. It is a powerful reminder of the progress we've made and the work that still lies ahead. This year’s theme, “Embracing Diversity and Inclusivity,” encourages us to celebrate the unique identities and experiences that make up our vibrant community. Reflecting on the journey towards equality, we remember the pioneers who paved the way for LGBTQ+ rights. Their bravery and dedication have led to significant milestones, from the decriminalization of homosexuality to the legalization of same-sex marriage in many parts of the world. Yet, we recognize that there are still challenges to overcome and that our collective effort is essential in fostering a world where everyone is free to be their authentic selves. #pridemonth #PRIDE #loveislove #LGBTQ+ #rights #diversity #inclusivity

🌈 Celebrating Pride Month June is Pride Month—a time to honor the journey towards equity and acknowledge the challenges still faced by the LGBTQ+ community. Why Pride Matters: Historical Significance: Commemorates the Stonewall Uprising of 1969, a pivotal moment in LGBTQ+ rights. Progress and Achievements: Marriage equity, increased visibility, and expanded legal protections. Ongoing Challenges: Discrimination, violence, and legal persecution persist worldwide. How We Can Contribute: Educate: Learn and share the history and current issues of the LGBTQ+ community. Advocate: Support policies and initiatives that promote equity. Inclusivity: Foster accepting and respectful environments in all spaces. Pride is not just a celebration, but a call to action. Let’s honor the courage of those who fought for rights and commit to building a future where everyone can live with dignity and equity. 🌟 #PrideMonth #Equity #LGBTQ #HumanRights #Inclusion

Throughout Pride month, rainbow-washing is everywhere you look, from retailers to politicians to corporations that typically have nothing to do with LGBTQ+ rights. Corporations or political entities use rainbow-washing, otherwise known as pinkwashing, to promote LGBTQ-friendliness in an attempt to downplay or soften negative aspects. If you support the LGBTQ-community you can’t be that bad, right? Wrong. Pride is not performative. And Pride is not a marketing tactic. Read on to learn more about how to take your organization from rainbow-washing to true allyship. #PrideMonth #RainbowWashing #DiversityEquityInclusion #LGBTQ+ #Allyship

Happy Pride Month! 🌈 Today marks the start of a month long celebration of LGBTQ+ identities, history, and achievements. You might notice companies updating their logos with rainbow colors (PG does not have a pride logo) to show support. In this video, we explore a critical issue many LGBTQ+ job seekers face: being told they're not a "cultural fit." We discuss how this affects the LGBTQ+ community and what true inclusivity should entail. Let's make sure our support is more than just a logo change—it's a commitment to real change. Check out the video below to learn more about how we can move from symbolic support to substantial action. #PrideMonth #LGBTQ #Inclusion #Diversity #CulturalFit #Belonging #LGBTQIA2S #InclusiveCulture #InclusiveWorkplace

This is so important. A former employer of mine had an LGBTQIA+ ERG whose only contribution was sending a bunch of staff to a pride parade with rainbow swag to give out. Queer employees need inclusion. They need to feel welcome and like they're on an even footing with their straight, cis colleagues and allies. They need benefits and systems that recognize their relationships and unique needs. It's demoralizing to come to work and feel like you have to hide yourself. You often spend more time with your coworkers than your loved ones, and it hurts to have to hide the latter. And it makes trans employees feel unwelcome when your computer systems put their legal names front & center day in and day out. A company that proactively makes people feel included is going to have an easier time retaining them.

Your LGBTQ+ team members don’t want a drag brunch, they want to feel safe telling a collegue about their partner. Your LGBTQ+ team members don’t want rainbow cupcakes, they want HR policies which explicitly include and protect them. Your LGBTQ+ team members don’t want to hear “love is love”, they want to hear “we recognise that your community are under threat and we commit to supporting you”. Less party, more protection. (Then we can talk about drag brunch) #Pride2023 #LGBTQ #DiversityInTheWorkplace #DEI
