“We couldn’t turn down the American team” … but you could turn down 80% of the World’s population? And oh by the way… isn’t there allegedly already an American team in F1?. Is this really in the best interests of bringing something different to F1 … and more importantly F1 fans, globally? For the best interest of #F1 and bringing something fresh, new and diverse to elite motorsport. Basing a team in Asia, with academies in Africa expands the entire commercial pot for all of the F1 teams as well as LKYSUNZ having its HQ base in Asia … it opens the doors to 80% of the worlds population. Expanding the global fanbase not only for LKYSUNZ but for all teams within F1. True Diversity, Equality and Inclusion - making F1 the World Championship it says it is ... but really how can they say that when they are ignoring 80% of the worlds population.   At the moment we have raised in excess of $1 billion (a record for any new team joining F1) and this number is rising daily, there is growing number of people that passionately want to see true change in F1 and this is also from those already within F1. The time for this positive change is now.    Would the $600m (divided across the existing 10 teams) that LKYSUNZ said it was going to bring to the sport to pay the revised valuation of the Concorde Agreement - was that ever ran past the Team Owners, Team Principals, FOM or Liberty? Before it was declined by the governing body?.   And then we are advised its all only about the money. There are an awful lot of mixed, confusing and non transparent messages coming out.   Time for a change ... and the time for a change is now. It has to. There has been too much looking backwards with legacy thinking and a narrow mindset ... its now time to look forward and bring F1 into the 21st Century.
