This is the first article of an article series that I'm planning to write about the search engine implementation ans optimization using Python. This is a personal and profesional project that I have. Is not an absolute true, is just my vision and I want tho share it with you. This first article is an introduction article. Pure context. In further articles I will explore in detail each Lego block of this project and their implementation using Python.

With the help of Aman Aranha made improvements to piptrends.com search When you search for a good package for a specific purpose PyPI search is not that good. For example, tenacity is one of the good packages for retrying API calls. If you go and search in piptrends.com with the keyword "retry" you will get the recommendation. Need input from all of you to improve it.

#codingchallenge1 100 Div create in gradient color using #javascript 🧑💻 👉 Here a step-by-step explanation of the JavaScript code:- 1. The code defines a function named `getRandomColor()` that generates a random color code. 2. The `letters` variable holds characters for color generation. 3. The `color` variable is initialized with "#" for the color code. 4. A loop runs 6 times, appending random characters to the `color` variable. 5. The random color code is returned by the function. 6. The code waits for the HTML document to be fully loaded using `DOMContentLoaded` event. 7. Inside the event listener, a variable `gridContainer` is assigned to the body of the HTML document. 8. A loop generates 100 grid items. 9. For each grid item, a new `div` element is created using `createElement`. 10. The `classList` method adds the "grid-item" class to the new `div` element. 11. A gradient background style is generated using two random colors, applied to the grid item. 12. The new grid item is added to the grid container using `appendChild`. This code creates a grid of colorful elements, where each element has a unique gradient background. It does so by defining functions, generating random colors, and using various DOM manipulation techniques. Code: https://lnkd.in/gpj3C_wP #100daysofcodechallenge #js #reactjs #frontend #code

Thrilled to share the new project i worked, visualization of binary search algorithm. what is binary search algorithm? Binary search is a widely used algorithm for finding a specific value in a sorted array or list. It's a highly efficient search algorithm that reduces the search space by half in each step, making it much faster than linear search for large datasets. How this project works: A list is provided with prime numbers between 0 and 100 with their indexes at the top of the box. A search bar is provided to allow inputs to check for the requested number within the list of prime numbers. If the number is within the list, it will be highlighted in green but if the number is not within the list a message will be shown indicating that the number is not within the list. check this out on Github: https://lnkd.in/eG6zpb6k #binarysearch #algorithms #webdevelopment #javascript

Regular expressions are the backbone of search patterns in the industry. They're simple to use for keyword searches, but also offer the most power when you need to start doing more-complex pattern searches. Don't underestimate the importance of mastering regular expressions. #searchpatterns #programming #industrytip

One thing I think about: if you don’t care about vector retrieval, and you use similarity as a reranking feature on an existing search engine, you can get by with LOTS of simple hacks that compress memory and focus on performance and accurate similarity over recall. https://lnkd.in/eMfDy4Aw
