O’Donnell Moonshine x 1. FC Union Berlin
We are incredibly happy to be able to write another chapter in our partnership with 1. FC Union Berlin!
From today on you can get the woodruff lemon liqueur developed together with the club in our Kombiset or in our premium set (including two mini cups) in the Union Berlin online shop and in their retail stores.
The contingent distributed by us was completely sold out within a few minutes 😱
Of course, a partnership depends primarily on the people behind it! Our thanks for the great collaboration go to Gordon Knebel, Vanessa Krüning, Vivian Bleschke, Toni Koch and Lars Vennebusch!

As FC St. Pauli stands on the brink of ascension to the 1. Bundesliga, we at Moyee proudly support their journey. This partnership transcends mere sponsorship; it embodies a mutual dedication to pioneering fairness and progressive sustainability for the planet. Stop the planetary exploitation and start making change!
Within the electrified atmosphere of Millerntor-Stadion, our coffee has fueled not just fans but a shared vision for radical change. Our engagement for the planet is visible into the very soil of our coffee farms. Our Mizan Farm project is a testament to this, challenging traditional coffee market systems and pioneering a model where every sip makes a tangible difference.
Moyee has planted 60,000 trees and will plant 300,000 more this year. A significant portion with 4,000 is the courtesy of FC St. Pauli's efforts, which demonstrates our combined impact on environmental stewardship.
This partnership is not just about achieving goals on the field but revolutionizing the coffee industry from bean to cup. It's about setting a precedent for how businesses can and should contribute to a sustainable future.
As we continue this journey, let's not merely celebrate the successes but rally for the ongoing challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. With FC St. Pauli by our side, and a community as passionate as ours, there's no limit to the impact we can create.
Together, let's continue to score goals for a better world.
FORZA ST. PAULI & TO A FUTURE CHARGED WITH POSSIBILITY!

„Life on Earth“ was the first book I asked for as a child, and it had a profound impact on how I see the world. David Attenborough’s work introduced me to the breathtaking biodiversity of our planet, from the arid deserts to lush jungles, from the deep seas to the icy poles. He showed how each life on this planet is interconnected and finely tuned together.
I remember vividly reading about the Albatross, with its impressive wingspan, in his book "The Living Planet"; the mesmerizing dance of the bird of paradise, and the gigantic Goliath beetle as big as my palm in "Life on Earth." Each story deepened my awe for the natural world.
Einstein once remarked, "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle" (attributed to him though not definitively proven). David Attenborough embodies this philosophy, revealing to us the miracles all around.
Today, his message is more urgent than ever as we face the sixth mass extinction. Unlike previous events caused by natural phenomena, this extinction is driven by human activity, including habitat destruction, climate change, and pollution. Researchers indicate we are currently witnessing species going extinct at rates much higher than the natural background rates, highlighting the critical need for urgent action to prevent future loss.
As a conscious species, it is our duty to protect the miracle of life on this blue planet. We are not the end result of evolution but a part of it. Our future depends on the conscious decisions we make today. Humanity cannot thrive without respecting and protecting all living beings on our planet, our home.
Thank you, David Attenborough, for inspiring us to see and safeguard the wonders of our world. 🌿

Taking note of another campaign prominently addressing gender equality (or the more progressive framing: empowerment), this one on a slightly bigger stage and supported with serious star power in Messi:

Thinking of the many recently released "state of the world" reports and high profile conferences and summits, gender equality and its consequences seems to be a bit drowned out in the tumult of the polycrisis.
Sport has long been the break-- the momentary escape-- from dealing with the weighty troubles in the world. But considering the upheaval in pro golfing in the past year, continuing headlines about racist incidents in soccer, and many other weighty issues where the sporting world has been center stage, social activism in sport seems ripe to be back on the agenda for debate, while the discourse on CEO activism seems to have fallen off the charts (IMHO). Thoughts??

Props to Lidl Ireland for deep commitment and serious engagement with the Ladies Gaelic Football Association. No 'ticking the box' approach here, which sets the bar higher for corporate peers. Thumbs up.
Today a trip down memory lane! Up until the 2007/2008 season, FC Utrecht had no trouble filling up the Galgenwaard Stadium, which has a capacity of 23,750 seats.
However, visitor numbers took a sharp decline in subsequent years.
The 2013/2014 season marked a low point with an average attendance of only 17,250, representing a nearly 30% drop.
This decline prompted FC Utrecht to make strategic decisions, leading them to embrace a data-driven approach.
Through the implementation of this strategy, FC Utrecht successfully increased their visitor numbers by 23%.
Curious to know how they achieved this feat?

FC Bayern Technical Director Marco Neppe details their setup:
What they look for in profiles:
"Football quality & mentality.
Then character, desire, team spirit, discipline & courage. You should also have the ability to reflect, to be able to assess yourself & what's going on around you."
"You also need to be able to deal with pressure, you need resilience.
And without fun, dedication, passion and a certain amount of greediness, you won't ever get far anyway. Identifying with the club is also a key for us. A player should be proud to play for FC Bayern."
His ultimate goal:
"The best feeling for me is when we have a team that is homogeneous and wins everything.
We only achieve that through a special mix.
At FC Bayern, the quantity of the squad is special compared to other teams internationally."
"That's part of our strategy, because we create an environment where the likes of talents like Josip Stanišić, Paul Wanner or Malik Tillman are able to get into the team.
Other clubs say they need 25 top international players to achieve their goals."
"We at FC Bayern are convinced that it can be done differently." [source: FC Bayern]

How do your colleagues and boss react when things don't go to plan for you?
For me, it's the easiest green flag 💚 / red flag 🚩 test there is...
Last night, I was fortunate enough to be in attendance at Union Berlin's Champion's League game against Braga.
The atmosphere throughout was incredible and - after going 2-0 up in the first half - it seemed like a big win was on the horizon.
But, instead, Braga won the game 3-2.
To make it worse, Braga scored their winner with the last kick of the game.
93:42 out of 94 minutes.
Total heartbreak.
It would surely be understandable if the fans were disappointed, perhaps even angry, right?
After all, being 2-0 up, the game was Union's to lose.
But, no.
A short silence, then back to singing.
And, even after the final whistle, the fans stayed.
And they kept singing.
"FC Union, (FC Union,)
unsere Liebe, (our love,)
unsere Mannschaft, (our team,)
unser Stolz, (our pride,)
unser Verein, (our club,)
Union Berlin, (Union Berlin,)
Union Berlin… (Union Berlin…)"
This video was taken a good 15 minutes after the game had ended.
And the singing continued long after I stopped recording.
It's easy to support and celebrate when things are going well.
But, if you find yourself in a business that shows you just as much love and support when things aren't going so well, then you have something special.
And, if your current company isn't like that, then maybe it's time you asked yourself why you are still there...
Thoughts?

Being a FC Barcelona fan hasn't been easy since 2018... but let's talk about how it relates to the world of #sales!
Being a FC Barcelona fan is more than just supporting a football club; it's a commitment to a philosophy, a style of play, and a set of values. Similarly, in sales, success isn't just about closing deals; it's about embodying a certain mindset and approach.
Barcelona FC is known for its iconic style of play called "tiki-taka," characterized by quick, short passes and fluid movement (Shout out to Johan Cruyff). In sales, this translates to building strong relationships through consistent communication and engagement. Just like how Barcelona players seamlessly pass the ball to maintain possession, Business Development folks & AE's need to maintain a fluid dialogue with their prospects to keep the momentum going.
Next, let's talk about resilience. Barcelona FC has faced numerous challenges over the years, from injuries to managerial changes, but the fans remain loyal through thick and thin (Believe me, loyal to the death). Similarly, in sales, rejection is part of the game. But just like Barcelona fans who continue to support their team despite setbacks, sales professionals need to stay resilient in the face of rejection and keep pushing forward!
Barcelona FC is renowned for its emphasis on youth development and nurturing talent from within. Likewise, in sales, investing in continuous learning and development is crucial for long-term success. Whether it's mastering new sales techniques or staying updated on industry trends, ongoing growth is key to staying ahead of the game. This is something The Pipeline Group and the leadership have excelled in!
So, whether you're cheering on Barcelona FC or another sports team from the stands and hustling in the world of sales, remember the parallels between the two. Stay true to your values, embrace challenges with resilience, invest in continuous learning, and build meaningful connections—it's the winning formula both on and off the pitch! ⚽🏆 #SalesSuccess#viscabarça#gtm
