National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)’s Post

Tech Tuesday 💡: The need for space-based ISR technology became critical after an American U-2 was shot down over the USSR in 1960. The increased demand for satellite reconnaissance eventually led to the creation of the NRO to build and operate these capabilities. Nearly 65 years later, the NRO is continuously innovating by developing, acquiring, launching, and operating the most advanced capabilities to maintain our edge in space. 🛰️

Anyways, what are your views on such, and if feasible, I hope such helps in design. Speaking of, I'm watching a detailed video on the SR and had thought of the post above which led to the SR's need to be developed. Why though, is there (last time I check was around 2021), a smaller model in public view at UC Trojan's location in DTLA? From a CI aspect, especially those on student visas, that's similar to giving an up-close view of a formerly classified project in public (SR-71), yet the physical details of the aircraft body, are still valuable OSINT, no?
