Psychology Student UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung | Human Resources | Enthusiast of Industrial Psychology
I was a young and eager student who embarked on a journey into the world of internships. My destination was the Human Resources (HR) department of a well-established company and little did I know that this experience would serve as a stepping stone towards learning, challenges, and self-discovery. Joining the HR team was no easy feat. With fierce competition and high expectations, I quickly realized that becoming an HR staff was not an easy endeavour. However, I was determined to embrace the process with an open mind and unwavering perseverance. From day one, I adopted a mindset that prioritized personal growth and the enhancement of my own value above all else. I knew that I wasn't merely working for a paycheck; I was on a mission to learn, adapt, and thrive in a professional environment. I believed that success would come when I viewed money as a tool working for us rather than being solely driven by financial gains. As the days turned into weeks, I immersed myself in the world of HR. I learned the intricacies of talent acquisition, employee engagement, and the complexities of organizational management. I faced challenges head-on, whether it was crafting effective job postings, conducting interviews, or navigating the labyrinth of workplace policies. With each challenge, I knew that I was gaining invaluable experience and strengthening my competency as an HR professional. But the journey was not without its trials. I encountered moments of doubt and frustration, but I never lost sight of my commitment to self-improvement. I continued to invest my energy into every task, knowing that excellence was the path to recognition. With time, I learned that in the end, it's not just about landing a job; it's about being a person of value and competence. I realized that by embracing the process and giving my best in every endeavour, I was not only growing as a professional but also as a human being. And then it happened. The culmination of my efforts bore fruit. Opportunities began to present themselves, and job offers came my way. I had achieved what I set out to do—become a competent HR professional. Looking back, I understand that there was no need to rush. The process was my teacher, and I enjoyed every moment of it. I had worked as hard as possible and left the rest to the universe, trusting that my dedication and growth would be rewarded. In the end, my journey into the world of internships had transformed me. It taught me the true value of embracing the process, investing in self-improvement, and seeing work as a means to enhance my capabilities as an individual. The story I had lived was a testament to the power of perseverance, patience, and an unwavering belief in the journey towards personal and professional excellence. God Bless and cheers!
