[CAREER DAY – L’Oréal R&I] 👩🔬🧫🧪 📆 On this week’s agenda is L’Oréal R&I Career Day, a special opportunity for L'Oréal employees to discover the richness of R&I activities and the potential career prospects within the department, giving them keys to become actors in their professional paths ! 💫 Yesterday, Novéal’s R&D teams were present at Aulnay Campus’ Career Day. They attended a stimulating keynote about the impact of GEN AI on work and discovered inspiring career paths. 💁 It was also the perfect occasion to learn about mobility, skills, interview preparation through workshops organized by the HR teams, including the “HR policy of mobility and development at L’Oréal” workshop, led by Novéal’s Human Resources manager Laure LAUDICINA and her colleague Jeanne Quartier from R&I’s HR team.👏 👉 Let’s not forget an essential moment of the Career Day : Scientific Corners. Scientific Valorization, Operational Excellence, and Green Tech – L’Oréal for The Future were represented by scientific ambassadors. In the words of Jeanette Coron (author of Don't Judge a Book by its Cover), "comfort and the fear of change are the greatest enemies of success". Starting a new role in a multinational corporation implies daily learnings, challenges, and - most importantly - a desire to accept change. Dean Kaden led a session on dealing with change which made my integration within L'Oréal's way of work smoother. Change is an innate part of strategic planning, and so I wish to thank Dean for the following take-away. Change is not only never linear (see chart below) but it also usually starts with shock, denial, and frustration. However, the more you manage change, the easier it is to deal with. The more you purposefully place yourself outside your comfort zone and take on things that alter your status quo, the more you learn and beautify your journey. So, if things seem complex and challenging - just know you're on the right path. #loreal #internshipjourney #development

🇺🇸What an immersive experience in Indianapolis last week!🇺🇸 I had the great chance to visit the Lilly Corporate Center for a two-day workshop on one of our main global HR projects. Many insights struck me in the end: 🤟🏼People make the difference! It’s always a matter of that. Projects don’t walk on their own feet. Cooperation, integration, and time spent working together can transform ideas into reality. ⏩️Make it simple! Don’t overcomplicate your solutions with fancy details and nuances. Find the core of the experience and stick to the essentials. 🧏🏽♂️ Diversity is crucial. Culture, education, job history, hands-on experience always enrich the project design and enlighten your blind side. 🎓A PhD gives you a long-term learning mindset. When you are in your day-to-day stuff, you may feel it’s a waste of time. If you jump into international projects, you realize that those years were more precious than you thought. 🌎There is a huge world outside your courtyard. And it’s so amazing to go and discover it with the eyes of a child! Hello Connections, I had the honor of going to an enhancing pre-placement talk meeting facilitated by L'Oréal as of late, and I should say it was an edifying encounter. The meeting dug profound into different parts of Loreal's corporate culture, values, and their obligation to advancement and maintainability in the magnificence business. One of the champion highlights of the meeting was the accentuation on cultivating a different and comprehensive working environment, which genuinely impacted me. Loreal's obligation to variety in their items as well as in their labor force is admirable and lines up with my own qualities. Also, the meeting gave priceless bits of knowledge into the various vocation amazing open doors accessible at Loreal and the potential for proficient development inside the organization. The speakers were drawing in and enthusiastic about their jobs, which made the meeting significantly really captivating. Their own accounts and vocation ventures were engaging as well as inspirational for somebody like me who tries to be a piece of such a dynamic and ground breaking association. I'm truly amped up for the possibility of investigating profession open doors with Loreal, an organization that plainly esteems development, supportability, and inclusivity. This meeting has lighted my advantage and excitement to add to Loreal's central goal of making magnificence more supportable, different, and available.
