Reflecting on my journey with Ericsson - 26 years of challenges, excitement, innovation and achievements! Looking back on my 26 years journey with Ericsson, I am filled with the feeling of gratitude and sense of attachment to this remarkable company. When I first joined Ericsson, I did not imagine that I would spend nearly half of my life in one company. Now, looking back, I do understand why. Ericsson has been more than just a place to work for me. It has been always my second home, a place filled with great culture, meaningful values, and plentiful opportunities for growth, learning, and contributing to valuable goals. A place where I had the privilege of interacting with brilliant minds, tackling challenges, innovating, and celebrating achievements that have made this journey incredibly fulfilling. During my journey with Ericsson, I had the privilege of working closely with great leaders whose integrity, professionalism, respect, and perseverance have been guiding lights especially during challenging times. I am grateful for the opportunities for growth and development, both professionally and personally, that they have provided me. I am also thankful for the opportunity to work shoulder to shoulder with many talented colleagues, whose dedication, teamwork, continuous support, and commitment to embracing our company's pride as their own have resulted in numerous achievements that I'm proud to have been part of. While every position I held at Ericsson, from IT management to commercial management, price management, and finally process management and business architecture, had its own challenges and rewards, the last 7 years have been especially rewarding. The opportunity to be part of Ericsson's Business Digital Transformation on such global scale has been truly remarkable. It fills me with pride to see how innovation ideas I contributed with, including the one recognized by our CEO and now one of the digital transformation core pillars, have made that meaningful impact. At this moment, as this chapter of life comes to an end, I remember this quote "It is not about the journey of life, it is about the legacy you leave behind". So, I hope that I’ve left something good behind. Nokia CEO ended his speech saying this “we didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost”. I see alot of professionals post this picture and give lessons on how your business must be flexible and how you need to anticipate changes in the market and follow the trend. Needless to say, most of us would have done the same in the same position. Some changes are just not that easy to predict or deal with. Nokia had a competent CEO and a very good management team, if this was not the case, they would not have been as successful as they were previously. We have the advantage of learning from mistakes of the past, and this should help to better tackle business challenges in the future. #nokia #market #adaptability
