Objection Handling in Data&AI sales with Google Cloud in Germany is 99.9% of my daily tasks. Hence, I was relieved to read about the resonance of Google Vertex AI with Forrester Wave... 2-3 years ago we were the first partners being selected for Vertex AI platform on our enterprise retail projects. And it went pretty smooth. Just now, I have send out another offer to a large FSI client in the nordics with support of Dr. Daniel Holz. Hence, Google Cloud and sales team is a super reliable and secure platform for AI initiatives in Retail and FSI. 𝐅𝐒𝐈 & 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥 Why those industries are good to go on Google Cloud? Because you have a complete *data heavy* platform. However, what I really like: We don't do classical consulting here. We can start together with interested and motivated teams to dive into. In parallel, teams attend our Data & AI Excellence Program, so that the customer gets trained and certified people in his own team. Sustainable business growth. 5𝐦𝐢𝐧 𝐯𝐬. 50 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬. Take for example your own LLM and GenAI projects: It takes us 5min to provision a new Vertex AI workbench (aka Jupyter Notebook) with 8x Nvidia A100 or H200 (since Monday). Nevertheless, I still see CIOs/CTOs which operate their own Spark + Jupyter + X platforms. That means dozens of people operating platforms in a company which could better produce code and results. 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡, 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞, 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 And even in GovTech, Public Safety and Defense, we can see an increased interest on Google Cloud due to Sovereign Controls and Cyber Security. Even though, top secret environments are still not possible on GCP (need to go to IBM), this will be possible in 2025 - and save us some headaches with missing features and overengineered other features on IBM Cloud. 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐈𝐎/𝐂𝐓𝐎 For leaders enabling their top teams and interested in fast iterations, Google Cloud is a great tool for your own capabilities and software craftmanship. For the dinosaur CIO, this will be too fast and result driven. He will still remain on Azure. But that is ok. ;-) 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚-𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐅𝐎 ... is someone who we usually recommend to use Microsoft Fabric and Excel Power Pivot. There is nothing better than having your data in drilldown going from PowerBI down to Excel. For data-heavy tasks, likely a connection to Google Bigquery makes sense, but frontend tooling is definitely Microsoft's sweet spot.
