Is getting a Neko Health Body Scan worth it ?

#Preventive #Healthcare vs #Curative Healthcare is the way how healthcare systems need to evolve. It's much cheaper, efficient and ethical to keep people healthy than to cure sick 🤒 people. Years ago, Theranos was claiming that they would be able to track 100s of biomarkers from one drop of blood 🩸, unfortunately that was a scam and the science behind their instruments was not working. Fast forward to today, Neko Health is offering full body scans and a number of other biomarkers tracking (and the science seems much more solid!), and they are announcing today the results of their 1st year of operation: 📌 2.707 people scanned 📌 1% with undiagnosed life threatening conditions 📌 9% serious undiagnosed conditions or preventable diseases 10% of people who took the scan were feeling fine but had a life threatening or very serious undiagnosed condition - and that's really the power of preventive healthcare: don't wait until people feel sick, track healthy people continuously, and intervene as early as possible to prevent the development of a serious disease. I sincerely hope that we see more of this type of start-up in the future and i hope that our health systems will transition to preventive healthcare and ensure that everyone (not only the wealthy) can get access to this type of tech. PS1: Just to make it crystal clear: i'm not comparing Neko Health and Theranos - i'm just saying that they both belong to the category of "preventive healthcare companies" PS2: Hjalmar Nilsonne hope you will publish your results in a scientific journal?
