Seattle's industrial market remains attractive to investors, as a self-storage facility in Greenwood district was recently sold for $30 million ($199 per sq. ft.). InSite Property Group, an entity affiliated with the buyer, acquired the property from an entity linked to Thomas Nickerson, the managing member of Nickerson Properties LLC. The facility at 9309 Aurora Ave. N spans over one acre and comprises a 150,138 sq. ft. building, including warehouse, office, and basement storage space, built in 2019. InSite Property Group specializes in self-storage development, operations, acquisitions, and management across the U.S., with offices in several cities. Last year, they acquired Lake City Mini-Storage in Seattle for $18.5 million, further establishing their presence in the Puget Sound region.
