Since our hens are outside all day as long (as their safety allows), about ~10% of their diet comes from foraging on pasture. This includes native flowers and herbs, worms and other protein-rich insects, and other natural goodies. ⁠🌾🌼🐛⁠ ⁠ Our chickens need to eat enough healthy foods to provide them with the nutrition they need to lay eggs while staying healthy. 🥚 Forage is an excellent source of nutrients, and it supplements a well-balanced diet.⁠ ⁠ Hens need a lot of protein to stay healthy, and our specially formulated feed blend provides them with a balanced nutrition profile.
