The one-day course provided new teammates with a foundational knowledge of PMA-234, the Naval Air Systems Command, and the joint cooperative program with the Royal Australian Air Force. GLOBAL TRANSPARK BREAKS GROUND ON FACILITY SLATED FOR INCOMING FRCE WORKLOAD Leaders and stakeholders from Fleet Readiness Center East (FRCE) and the North Carolina Global TransPark gathered at the Kinston facility June 25 to celebrate breaking ground for a new aviation maintenance complex set to house the depot’s incoming military aircraft workload. Groundwork on the 75-acre site began in April to prepare the area for new construction. When complete, the multi-structure, purpose-built facility will provide more than 700,000 square feet of space planned to support FRCE’s work on the Navy and Marine Corps C/KC-130J Super Hercules and C/KC-130T Hercules and Air Force HH-60W Jolly Green II. FRCE Commanding Officer Capt. James M.
