🌍🌱 It's #NetZeroWeek, and we're committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, delivering on a 1.5-degree future 20 years ahead of the UN's target! So, what does ‘net zero by 2050’ actually mean? By 2050, the UK (and countries all over the world)  are aiming to balance the greenhouse gases they emit with the amount they remove from the atmosphere, making its net contribution to climate change zero. This means that right now, businesses across the economy need to cut emissions as close to zero as possible by switching from fossil fuels to clean technologies like renewables. Most emissions must be entirely eliminated without relying solely on carbon removal technologies. Our 2022 progress shows our dedication to these goals, as we strive to become Net Zero well ahead of schedule. 🌳🌾 Net Zero is achievable and can be a game-changer if done right.
