ABOUT US Vine Treasure Development Initiative (VTDI) is an organization born from the passion of bridging the widening gap of #inequalities that have plagued our society, with a specific focus on the #Adolescent boy and girl child from the underprivileged, under-served, and hard-to-reach communities. Our vision resonates deeply with the #Global #goals especially #SDGs 4, 10 &16, we believe that #qualityeducation is beyond just learning but it is more about having relevant knowledge and a forward-thinking mindset to emerge as success and impact one's world, with this we use the power of #education through technology to reduce #inequalities by teaching and empowering adolescent in #underserved communities with technological knowledge needed to compete out there as well as to empower them against being used as thugs and perpetrator of evil and social vices in the society and to have the relevant knowledge needed to get hired and achieve their dreams. Central to our heart at VTDI is the plight of the #Adolescent, they are our primary target, and our line of work and intervention spans through whatever affect or want to impede their ability to emerge unto greatness in life.

I wanted to repost this article written by Lana Love and myself (Nicole Wiet). I really appreciated the time and effort that Lana put into sharing part of her story. I also want to remind everyone that true reconciliation is more than one day. It is something that we should always be working on. There is a great list of resources and courses in this article that could help you continue you or perhaps begin your journey towards reconciliation. Feel free to share all or part of the list. #orangeshirtday #reconciliation #everychildmatters #MMIWG #Indigenous
“My understanding of my own Indigenous ancestry mostly came from very biased and inaccurate education at a school that taught me about assimilation or by hearing what other people had to say about Indigenous people. There was so much misinformation and, as a white presenting person, I got to hear it firsthand from people who didn’t realize that these inaccurate and negative things that they were saying were also about me and my family.” Lana Love – BC Tradeswomen Society Director at Large Thank you to Lana Love, RSE for sharing her personal experience. This October 30th marks the 10th anniversary of Orange Shirt Day in BC which is now also recognized as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. To further your education and continue working towards genuine reconciliation we would like to share this list of resources. #truthandreconciliation #orangeshirtday #🧡 #everychildmatters

At Texport Syndicate, our success goes beyond profits. We believe in using our resources to create positive change, especially for those who need it most. That's why we've implemented a robust Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program focused on empowering marginalized communities, with a particular emphasis on girl child education. We believe education is the key to unlocking a child's potential, especially for girls. Our CSR programs focus on: - Increasing access to quality education for girls in underprivileged communities. - Providing scholarships and educational resources to support their academic journey. - Empowering girls through mentorship programs and skill development workshops. This is just one way we're taking action for a brighter future. By investing in girl child education, we're not just helping individuals, we're contributing to the overall development and progress of society. #childeducation #education #csr #corporatesocialresponsibility

October 11th is International Day of the Girl Child. Around the world, girls are less likely to attend school than boys. Investing in girls’ education is a powerful catalyst for positive change on a global scale. Educated girls tend to marry later, live healthier and more productive lives, and achieve higher incomes. They actively engage in decision making, creating better prospects for themselves and their families. #investingirls #globaleducation #wce #donatetoday

"Do you know? The global Education for All (EFA) movement, initiated to ensure that every child, particularly the most vulnerable, has access to quality education, aligns closely with SDG Goal 16, emphasizing the pivotal role of quality education in building peaceful societies. We are well aware that education serves as the backbone of every nation, and our children, the future leaders, hold the key to our nation's destiny. Both are intrinsically intertwined, making them paramount for our nation's growth. So, how can we champion peaceful coexistence through child education? 1. Empathy Development: Education fosters empathy, empowering children to understand and relate to the experiences and perspectives of others. 2. Communication Skills: Children learn the art of effective communication, a cornerstone for peaceful coexistence and fruitful collaboration. 3. Global Citizenship: Education instills the values of global citizenship, underlining our shared responsibility for a more peaceful world. 4. Promoting Human Rights: Education imparts knowledge about rights and responsibilities, cultivating a culture of respect for human rights. 5. Future Peace Leaders: Educated children are poised to become the leaders of tomorrow, advocates for peace, equity, and social justice. We, the Peace Pioneers, are dedicated to SDG Goal 16. Stay with us as we endeavor to promote peace, justice, and strong institutions through child education, and rights, and raising awareness among parents. #FarhanasBrainstation #SDG #SDG16 #Peace #PeacePioneers #Unify16 #PromotePeace #ChildEducation 🕊️📖✨"
