“Innovation distinguishes between a leader and a follower”. This quote from Steve Jobs truly applies to all our teams working within our 5 Air Liquide innovation campuses ! I had the chance to witness it again while visiting recently the Innovation Campus Delaware in the US, a very inspiring and rich week. 🥇 We could recognize all the R&D employees who worked for a long time within the group, for some up to 30 years of service dedicated to innovation ! Congratulations for such a commitment. 🌍 Many climate solutions are currently being developed very quickly by the teams. The R&D expertise in Delaware particularly in data science, life science, combustion, carbon capture and semiconductors keeps the Group at the forefront of its industry, inventing the future. We could visit a few customers who provided such positive feedback. ☘️ I also enjoyed completing a new pollinator garden planted by employees at the Innovation Campus Delaware for Earth Day 2023. 🚀 Since its beginning, Air Liquide has always made innovation the driving force of its strategy, and I can say the momentum is clearly there in Campus Delaware !  Bravo. #technology #innovation #industry #decarbonization #climatechange Anne-Sophie Lucier Claire Julian

#Diversity everyday! I am deeply convinced that only by joining forces and having consistent objectives over the long term can we invent a #sustainable future. International Women's Day #IWD2023 reminds us how #diversity is a crucial asset for sustainable performance that we need to nurture and leverage through an inclusive culture. To unleash its full potential, we need to break stereotypes and mitigate biases. That’s why I’m proud to work at Air Liquide, a group that made diversity, and especially gender equity, a priority almost 25 years ago by initiating a large-scale program involving its top executives.  And it works! 👍 Whereas, in the late 90s, we only had one woman Managing Director of an entity and one female Executive Committee member; today, we are almost 30% of women and 5 nationalities are represented within the Executive Committee. And among our executives, at Group level, we have more than 23% of women in charge. We can, and will, do better! But honestly, we are making progress and even accelerating 👍.  Several initiatives are underway - from recruitment to talent development -  to help increase the proportion of women in our Group. One example: when we recruit, we have to pay attention to the way we approach women and for that, we’ve implemented actions to make our job descriptions neutral to encourage women to apply. We’ve also experimented anonymous CVs and the results are promising. Another example: we aim at empowering women managers at Air Liquide. For that, we’ve set up training sessions on how to support career growth and mentoring programs to identify potential future female leaders. And last but not least, a concrete initiative: some employees identified a need for role models in the company to inspire all women. They built a narrative about women in the workplace by gathering stories of female employees from different geographies and backgrounds across the Group. Their goal? Sharing experiences, inspiring and encouraging other women – and men – to dare reach their personal and professional ambitions. The initiative turned into the “Inspiring Women at Air Liquide” book, a must-read that I encourage everyone to discover ! https://lnkd.in/e-VK2Es9 Each story is unique and shows that there are ways for all women to achieve their dreams, and not only at Air Liquide. Again, we must go further and faster. That is why we have set ambitious goals for our Group: reaching 35% of women among our engineers and managers and 25% of women in senior executive positions worldwide by 2025.
