🚀 Last week Ben, George, and Lewis, headed into London for the Cookieless Now Summit hosted by InfoTrust at Google CSG. 🍪💡 George has shared some of his key takeaways: 🔒Marketers need to incorporate privacy by design, being proactive rather than reactive, and making the experience a natural and non-disruptive part of their user experience. With 43% of people saying they'd switch from the preferred brand to a second choice if the latter provided a good privacy experience, it is vital to incorporate this well. 🌠With the constantly evolving digital landscape for advertising, adaptation is key. With the imminent deprecation of third-party cookies, it's crucial for marketers to stay fluid and adapt their strategies. A memorable quote from this? “Ignorance is not defensible, it’s negligence.” 🌍 We’re heading into a world of change, and now more than ever we need to be ready to leverage tools to help fill the gaps that come as we lose third-party cookies and cookie consent legislation changes day in and day out. 📊Marketers need to be ready for change, whether it be taking advantage of server-side storage, taking the reins with data warehousing or leveraging AI to model data effectively and fill the gaps that the future will bring.
