Love corporate red tape? Enjoy being a small cog in a big machine? How about being micromanaged? Or not having the flexibility to slot work around family stuff? Nope, nope, nope. Didn’t think so. Due to recent client wins, we're hiring an Account/Project Manager. Eeeeesh. Your previous experience might make people think you're a bit of a Frankenstein, but the line between Account and Project Management has become blurred. And anyway, we like people with a varied history. And if you need flexibility, this could be full-time at 37.5 hrs per week, or flexi-part-time as little as 10 hrs per week. Job Title: Account/Project Manager Salary: £35-45k + new biz commission Location: UK. Hybrid (2 days a month in London) Type: Full or part-time The role will suit you if... - You’re from a large ad agency background. - You don’t want to travel into London every day. - You’re a parent coming back from a career-break. - You’re from a minority background and been thwarted by unconscious bias. How to move things along... Email mitch@mellorandsmith.com with your most recent CV (even if it’s not fully up to date). The process will look like this: - Mitch will follow up with a 10-20 min phone chat - A 60 min Zoom with me to talk through your experience - A 60 min face-to-face meeting with me and Jim our Creative Director Everyone will get a response. If you’re a recruiter and you’ve got this far down the page. We don’t deal with recruiters, so please don’t get in touch. Yes even you, the worlds best recruiter. #jobsearch #hiring #Underdogs cc: Mellor&Smith

Executive Assistant | Project Manager - Using AI to Drive Operational Efficiency, Building Success for C-Suite Leaders through Strategic Support for Administrative tasks and Projects.
My project team member has refused to get their work done!! 😭 I am the project manager assigned to lead a project team of 15. All was going well until 3 of the project team members ghosted me without completing their tasks. The project is set to launch in less than 2 months, I have done all within my power to get through to them, all to no avail. I have sent countless emails, tried chatting them up, and called their cellphones but they weren't picking up. I told myself, this is not the time to panic, you've got this! It's almost 2 weeks since I last heard from them, and then I concluded it was time to escalate this issue to the program manager because if the pending tasks are not completed within schedule, we are prone to fall behind the launch date, and the budget of the project would be affected since we would have to hire 3 extra and unplanned teammates to complete the abandoned projects. To escalate amid an ongoing project could create a lot of tension between myself and the stakeholders and I wouldn't want that to happen. But I still need to bring the project back on track. I needed proof to show I had done all I could to resolve the arising issues so I created a document that includes the days the 3 members worked and the days they didn't show up, the entire communication between myself and them for the last few weeks. The reason for this email was not to play the blame game but to find solutions as fast as possible. I addressed the escalation email to the program manager, describing the following; 1. Problem I was facing. 2. Impact of the problem on the ongoing project. 3. Request to salvage the problem ASAP. And I got my issues sorted!! What a relief! 😍 As a project manager or team lead, when do you escalate an issue to a higher authority? Let's gist in the comment section. My name is Modili Chinyere, your efficient Project Manager and Executive Assistant. Let's chat about your project and administrative tasks. I recently came across the expectations of hiring manager/companies posting jobs: 1. Hiring for Remote work (Post Interview, they need an onsite availability) 2. Looking for Project Manager cum Business Development (Payscale, you can't Imagine :D) 3. Putting "Remote ' in the job post to attract candidates (Though it can be Hybrid or Onsite) 4. Require candidates who can manage everything & become a CEO's voice, but will also discuss what else can we do. (I mean's that's the best thing one can do) Do you believe these positions attract high-profile candidates or those willing to compromise on salary? Stop compromising on values #projectmanagers #businessdevelopmentjobs #hrconsulting #hiringtrends #budgetcontrol #ceoforum

Helping Marketing Leaders Navigate Growth with B2B Demand Generation Solutions | Hire a Full-Stack Fractional Demand Gen Team | Boutique Demand Gen Agency | Focus Image Pro 🧭
I'm on the lookout for an Account/Project Manager with a strong #demandgeneration background to lead our projects and support our amazing clients 🔎 Having worked in both corporate organizations and start-ups, I've seen the best and the worst. When I launched Focus Image Pro, I took all those experiences and implemented the best practices into our processes. How are we different from a traditional marketing agency? - We're a small but incredibly supportive team. The team doesn't work FOR me; they work WITH me. We're partners! - We all work remotely with flexible schedules. The team is based in Canada and collaborate across different time zones to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering top-notch results for our clients. - Despite our size, we have a solid culture based on four core values: trust, transparency, respect, and empathy. 💢 Trust: I don't micromanage. I trust people by default. 💢 Respect: Someone recently told me that clients should come first, then employees. At Focus Image Pro, the team comes first. A happy and valued team provides exceptional support to clients. Remember, replacing a good employee is way more expensive than replacing a customer (hope our clients don't read this lol). 💢 Transparency: I share both our wins and losses, my enterpreneur experience, and challenges with the team. We're all human and have our ups and downs. 💢 Empathy: If you have any personal problems, please share them with me! Your health and family are top priorities and should come before work. I'm looking for someone who can support me initially for 10-15 hours per week, with the potential to become a full-time role as we grow and scale together. The ideal candidate should have approximately 70% demand generation experience and 30% project and/or account management experience, and be based in Canada (time zone doesn't matter). ❗ I'm not posting this anywhere except this post because I believe in the power of #networking. Many talented people have been affected by major layoffs in recent years, so I sorely rely on my network and LinkedIn algorithm to find and help someone land a job. If you know someone who fits this description, please tag them, share, or like this post. #sharingiscaring Let's connect! 🤝 #Hiring #JobOpportunity #DemandGeneration #ProjectManagement #AccountManagement #RemoteWork #JoinUs #FocusImagePro

Who is ACTUALLY HIRING? Seriously. I've been on the hunt for 6 months with no luck. I just need a remote Project Coordinator/Administrator role in the timezones CEST/EMEA. No ghost listings. No "jump through hoops for a job that doesn't exist" posts. No "let's keep you warm in our candidate pool" posts. And definitely no scams. So, who’s genuinely hiring? #hiring #recruitment #job #JobHunt #RemoteWork #ProjectCoordinator #ProjectAssistant #ProjectAdministrator #EMEAJobs #HiringNow #RealJobs #RemoteCareers

😎 3 Attributes of a Great Executive Assistant: 1. Excellent Proactive Communicator - not just following up with you, employees, or clients when prompted, but a great assistant is proactive and always thinking 2-3 steps ahead of what needs or questions will come up and happily answers or resolves issues before tasked to. 2. Detail Oriented- You shouldn’t have to triple check their work, email responses, or assigned projects. They should be detail oriented (nothin’ wrong with a little OCD) and geek out on organization of emails, files, and all things documentation (SOPs, processes, etc) 3. Trustworthy to their Core- If you can’t trust ‘em then you can’t work with ‘em. It’s that simple. An executive assistant is too far into the details of your personal and professional life to not be trusted. You shouldn’t have to second guess sharing sensitive information with them. Thinking of hiring an assistant? 👇 We’ve helped many founders hire their 1st assistant recently. Here are our recent stats for hires with 2+ years of experience: LATAM:$10-25/hour Europe:$15-30/hour 🎯 Our hiring is risk free - no deposit required - we payroll and take care of all paperwork. Our goal is to make hiring easy so you can focus on growing your company. Ready to hire? Employers - please do NOT include the compensation range on your posted job opportunities! ... ... unless you first took the time to make sure the job itself is accurate and clear! Hear me out: 🛡 When I have searched for jobs, the number one challenge is the title. I get it - those fancy titles make it sound more important... but if it's a sales role, call it Sales please. And don't use the words "Director" or "Leader" or even "Manager" for roles where nobody reports to me (yes - there are exceptions, like "Project Manager"). 📌 You say the location is "Remote", but you require some office time? Or you say the position is Hybrid, but expect 5 days in the office? Make it make sense! 🖥 You say that experience in your proprietary custom software that nobody else even has access to is required. Maybe you should only post this job internally? ⁉ You've got a bunch of "meaningless" minimum requirements that essentially say "be smart", like [ ♦ Analytical skills to leverage data for compelling insights. ] If it's not specific, you might as well just use one of the silly buzzwords like Guru or Ninja or Unicorn because this job sounds like a fairy tale anyway. 🔁 I see the exact same "unique opportunity" posted multiple times for various locations (your definition of "unique" isn't the same as mine...) 😕 If you just posted the position yesterday & there are 3572 applicants, I'm done before I read further. Not your fault? I disagree... when I have read these positions, they're usually so generic that everyone believes they are qualified. That's on you, my friend. _____ Just for fun - what other "head scratching" practices with job descriptions do you see that have significant room for improvement?

Executive Assistants are assets to a company’s executive team because of the administrative support they provide and their tasks often have direct effect on the company’s success. In one of my previous post about communication and it’s importance. I mentioned to take us through other Executive Assistant roles.
