🙌 Had an incredible experience speaking to the next generation of business leaders at Thomas More University's Governor's School for Entrepreneurs (GSE) program. The energy in the room was electric! ⚡️We kicked things off with a motivational chant to ignite passion and banish any jitters in the room. (Spoiler alert: it worked!)😉 From there, we delved into the journey of entrepreneurship, the importance of resilience, and the power of giving back. Two questions from the audience really resonated: 1️⃣How to overcome a lack of confidence? My answer: "You are enough." Don't be afraid to ask questions, make mistakes, or say "I don't know." Remember, that's how we learn and grow. 2️⃣Advice for young adults on the path to success? Here are two gems: ✅Hard work doesn't need witnesses. True dedication thrives in silence, away from the noise of social media. When it's time to shine, your efforts will speak for themselves. ✅Seek counsel, not opinions. A strong mentor can be a game-changer. Surround yourself with experienced individuals who can guide you on your path. Huge thanks to the amazing students, staff, and especially Alex, a GSE graduate I'm proud to mentor!
