I am a big fan of vintage posters. Because they show us that good ads are not about product but about a promise. Promise of experience that is bigger than the product. I find it fascinating to look into poster designs that are more than 100 years old and see that everything that is being said about branding and marketing today is, in the end, not new. Look at those theatre posters of magicians from the early XX century. Back then printed ads were the main channel to market a magic show. And the best posters made a promise. These posters promised people an unforgettable evening full of wonders. Most likely, there were no skeletons dancing on stage or no demons running around. Or, if there were, it did not look that awesome. But the posters created a mental image, an expectation, and weeks after seeing the show, people would indeed remember dancing skeletons and demons and all sorts of wonders. Was it a lie, then?.. I don't know. The posters are still quite awesome, I think :) #art #arthistory #design #designinspiration #designhistory #philosophy #vintagedesign #vintagevibes #theatrearts #artanddesign #arteducation

Finding My Creative Compass Here's where my journey took root. The artist's path is often paved with the pressure to have a "style"—a signature that's distinctly yours. To be honest, that expectation was daunting, a bit like a creative straightjacket. So, I leaned on what I knew—graphic design. Instead of confining myself to a single style, I imagined a logo, a character that could be my creative alter ego. This character became my template, offering consistency without chaining down my curiosity. It let me dance across styles, mediums, and narratives, even into the realm of large-scale sculptures. I wasn't breaking the rules—I was rewriting them. Here's to staying true to your creativity, even if it means drawing outside the lines. #CreativeJourney #ArtWithoutBorders #DesignThinking #Sculpture #ExploreMore #beppe
