We are all multidimensional beings. This dimension is one that I have never discussed in this particular forum, yet I am as proud of my BJJ journey as a am of any of my educational or professional accomplishments. It has shaped who I am as a leader and team member more than any degree. I competed in a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament this past weekend, won all of my matches, and became the number one competitor in the world in my division. I have been practicing this sport for over 11 years, training and competing all over the world. 2024 has been and will continue to be a transformative year for me. 🤙🏾 🥋 oss!

It's an honor to call you my friend and one of my profesional inspirations. I've battled alongside you on the fútbol pitch so I have seen the determination up close. You are going to dominate whatever you put your mind to. You are a pure example of unlimited human potential. Glad you are making the most of this short life. Your opponents must feel like they are suffocating in a crawlspace when they battle you 😏. Now time to play some footy soon. See you on the pitch. Blessings and cheers brother. 🤙🏽
LEGEND!!!! I don’t know anyone that pushes themselves as hard as you do. Your work rate is relentless and you inspire all those around you! Glad we crossed paths and became friends. Much love and respect brother!
Wow, thats awesome Al. I got back into BJJ for a year, but kept getting hurt. Broke a rib and reinjured a core muscle so I think I am done for good now. I love grappling, hurts to say goodbye. Oss.
OSS! Very inspirational Al! I resumed rolling a year and a half ago after a two-year hiatus due to COVID. Each time I step on the mat, I regret the lost time but find joy in the lessons learned, which I apply both as a professional and as a leader at home. Congratulations on your many accomplishments and thank you for sharing your story 🤝 👊
Most impressive 💪🏼🥋

1moI never forget the first day you came to the dojo, eager to learn a new art, with a determination to learn and become the best. You have done an amazing work on the mats and professionally, always humble and kind to others, positive and big smile all the time. Congrats brother, very proud of your accomplishments. You are exactly the best role model for many young adults that don't know where to start in life. Yes, you can do it, you did it, and you are the best example of your own decisions, great achievements. I have seen you work hard at it for many years, even bumping into each other at some tournaments. BJJ by far is one of the hardest most fun and joyfully sports we do, that unless you do it, it is hard to understand. Everyone should try it out once, age is an excuse and you and I know it. Best wishes to you, keep progressing and God bless you and family! Alberto Montenegro
