To further illustrate this concept from application modernization, consider the following scenario: Imagine a retail clothing company. If the company could access data that predicts upcoming winter or summer weather patterns, it could tailor its production accordingly. For instance, if the data suggests a particularly cold winter, the company could focus on producing more heavy winter coats. Conversely, if a hot summer is forecasted, it could prioritize lightweight summer apparel. However, if the company lacks the means to connect with real-time weather data through APIs, it might overproduce certain styles and end up with excess inventory that's difficult to sell. #palmdigitalz #applicationmodernization #learningeveryday
